Welcome to the Lake House on Plover Ln! Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, family-friendly vacation, or star-gazing adventure, our cozy house on Lake Huron has everything you're looking for in an up-north vacation. Located on the beautiful northeast lakeshore of the lower peninsula of Michigan, this property is minutes away from lighthouses, shipwrecks, walking, snowmobile trails, & more. The famous Mackinaw Bridge is an easy 45-minute drive, making it a great day trip.

The space
The Lake House on Plover Lane is the perfect place to experience lake life—whether you're sipping coffee on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, or unwinding in the hammock with a good book.

Each of the 2 interior bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a fully accessible walk-in shower, plus there’s an additional half bath in the main living area for convenience. The secondary bedroom features bunk beds with a weight limit of 165 lbs. per level, making it a great option for kids or teens.

Step outside onto the lakeside deck, where you’ll find rocking Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, and a gas grill—perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. Closer to the water, enjoy the hot tub, fire pit, hammock and beach loungers for ultimate lakeside relaxation.

For those traveling with dogs, the front yard is fully fenced so your furry friends can roam safely. Your rental also includes access to our cozy guest house, affectionately called "The Crab Shack." It features a twin bed with a trundle, a futon, and can comfortably sleep two adults. With both heat and AC, it's a great space to retreat and relax.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the entire property including the Crab Shack and garage. Nothing is off-limits except for the owner’s closet.

Other things to note
We provide a complimentary coffee (K Cups) and tea bar. There is also a drop coffee maker available for use. Wood for the fire pit and propane for the grill are provided. The bathroom showers are zero entry - no stepping over and into a tub and we have a ramp up to the front door of the house for easy access.

You are 20 minutes from Rogers City with a small grocery store and hearty local restaurants. Cheboygan is 25 minutes away with its farmer's market, charming shops, eateries and lighthouse tours. Mackinaw City is a 45 minute drive where you can see the 5th longest suspension bridge in the world, catch a ferry to historic Mackinaw Island and grab some fudge for the drive home.
