Welcome to the relaxation of lake front living. Our guest home offers a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, a dedicated hallway bathroom, a coffee bar, mini fridge & microwave. Your stay includes lake access, a private fire pit/ picnic table area, 4 kayaks and a dock slip for your boat. Perfect for fisherman, couples and snowmobilers. We also have parking for your trailer. Close to Lily Dale and Snow Mobile Trails.
The space
Our home is a two story with 77 feet of private lake front on a quiet, residential street. We live completely on the first floor and use the back entrance. We have three friendly poodles that you may see in the back yard, but they will not enter your living space.
The front door is a private guest entrance that welcomes you into a small foyer with a staircase leading to the upstairs guest bedrooms. At the top of the stairs is a coffee bar with mini fridge and microwave exclusively for guest use. Please note: there is no sink in the coffee bar area.
The front king bedroom features prime lake views, 2 lounging chairs and a workspace. Right next door is the queen bedroom with a cozy reading nook that has a glimpse of the lake. Both bedrooms have window a/c units and portable floor heaters, so you can adjust the temperature to your comfort level. The bedroom doors have a keyless entry lock system, so you can feel secure leaving your belongings. Directly across the hall from the bedrooms is a dedicated full bath.
Your rental includes both bedrooms. Even if you only use one, we will never rent the second bedroom during your stay.
At the end of the hall is a quiet, full time resident. You may see him in the hallway, but he has his own bathroom and he will not use your amenities.
Outside, you share a staircase that leads down to the lake. The boat slip is on our dock. There is a fire pit area with a picnic table exclusively for guests. The kayak launch is shared.
Guest access
Guests enjoy access to:
A private lakeside fire pit with complimentary starter pack of firewood and adirondack chairs;
Unlimited use of four fishing kayaks, paddles and life jackets;
A dock slip for your motorized boat. We offer on-site trailer parking. The public Cassadaga Lakes boat launch is located just 1.8 miles away.
There is also a deck/dock under a shade sail that is shared space with the homeowners.
During the winter, we also can park snow mobile trailers.
Other things to note
We are the owners of Cassadaga Hook & Paddle. We rent a fishing boat and lounging kayaks. As our guest, you get a VIP 15% discount on the fishing boat and dockside delivery of all rentals. Boat rentals are handled separately. Message us after booking if you are interested.
