Summer is in full swing here in the Lakes Region! Both Squam and Winnipesaukee minutes away - vistas to enjoy the season all around. The cottage sleeps two but can accommodate an additional two on a comfortable sleeper couch. We even have room to park your boat and trailer! The stone building, a 1920s gatekeeper’s cottage, is part of a Gilded Age estate, and is lovingly restored to meet your needs in comfort, including a full kitchen, bath and geothermal central heat and a/c.

The space
This beautiful two-room stone cottage has a combined kitchen/dining/living space, and a separate bedroom with a cozy, vintage vibe, and a full bathroom. There is also a patio and grill space in the back. The location is only a few minutes drive from the Meredith and Center Harbor town proper. Chamberlain-Reynolds, a preserved forest on the shoreline of Squam, with pristine beaches and walking trails, is a five minute stroll down the road.

Guest access
Guests can unload, retrieve the key and enter through the front door, there is a separate back entrance off the kitchen where there is a parking space - key works in both locks. The main driveway is shared with the main house. The cottage is on a private, quiet road.

Other things to note
This is a great space to rent for a rejuvenating get-a-way, a cozy couple's retreat, if you have an event in the area, or as a base camp for enjoying the Lakes Region and all it offers - in all four seasons.
