This professionally cleaned, ground-level apartment is part of a row home on a quiet, tree-lined street blocks to the Supreme Court and the Capitol building. It boasts tall ceilings with ample natural lighting.
Historic sites, transportation, grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants are within a 15 min. walk. This apartment is great for tourists and extended business stays!
The space
Welcome to a peaceful retreat in the heart of historic DC. Our home is located on a quiet street where guests can rest and recharge. Upon arrival, guests will find a professionally-cleaned, cozy apartment with tall ceilings, mid-century modern themed furniture, and a kitchenette stocked to meet basic cooking needs.
Our row home consists of three floors split into two apartments. This AirBnb unit is the entire ground floor (not an English basement) of the home with its own private entrance, thermostat, kitchen, bedroom, and a full bath. We live upstairs in the top unit.
The apartment has been furnished to make your DC stay feel like home, including:

- Fast WiFi for those looking to work remote
- Smart TV where you can access your Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime accounts and watch a movie after a long day of sight-seeing
- Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and more
- Coffee maker, French Press, Fellow electric kettle, and a coffee grinder
- Premium, crisp-white clean sheets and towels
- Thermostat to control heat and central air-conditioning
- Warm blankets and quality pillows
- Hybrid mattress to accommodate preferences
- Blackout curtains designed to also reduce street noise
- Hair dryer, clothes iron, and steamer
Additionally, guests receive a set of new travel size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and soap) per each reservation.
The bedroom consists of a queen size bed which can accommodate two people. An additional twin bed (real bed, not air mattress) is also available for an additional $35/night. Reservations for three people (including children who don’t sleep in pack-and-plays) will be required to book the twin bed. Please let us know when you book your reservation if you need the additional twin bed ready upon your arrival.
No contact check-in and check-out. Keypad instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
PARKING: There is free street parking available. During the weekday there is a 2 hr time limit. No time limit in the evening / overnight or on weekends.

Guest access
The ground floor of this home is an apartment used as the rental space and we live upstairs. Guests have access to the ground floor apartment which has its own private entrance.
Instructions for keyless entry will be sent prior to arrival

+ We are available if you need us, otherwise we respect your privacy.
+ External areas of the premises are surveilled and recorded by cameras.
+ Since this is our home, we kindly ask you review our house rules below before making a reservation.
HOUSE RULES:
1. The guest's AirBnB profile must include positive past reviews and no negative reviews, a verified phone, email, and government ID.
2. No party or large event of any size. When submitting your request, please include written confirmation agreeing to not host a party or large event. To reduce the likelihood of large events, we ask local residents to include a written explanation of your stay.
3. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise between the hours of 11pm-8am. We live upstairs and will do the same.
4. No smoking of any kind on the property, including inside the home or outside in the front yard or backyard. Incense is also not permitted.
5. No unregistered guests without notifying the owner.
6. The fireplace is for decorative purposes only. It is *not* available for use by guests.
7. When submitting an application, guests must confirm they've read and understood the house rules.
8. No pets allowed on premises.
