High Rustler House is located in the main village of Castle Mountain Resort, located 20 minutes from Beaver Mines, 40 minutes from Pincher Creek and just over 1 hour from Waterton. Ski-in, ski-out has never been so comfortable! Watch the chairlift start in the morning or walk to one of Castle's great hiking trails, there is tons to do in this area!

The space
Located in the middle of Alberta's newest provincial recreation areas, the Castle offers a ton of fantastic options, from skiing to hiking to biking! Hunting and fishing opportunities are nearby, as well as kayaking and canoe options all within an hour of the chalet.

The house offers 2 full bedrooms with closets, and 1 large loft bedroom with a seating area. Each bed is a queen sized memory foam mattress for additional comfort. Towels are provided. Two full bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen offer all the comforts of home. The large front deck offers a log picnic table, additional seating and natural gas BBQ for you to use.

Our home offers a private hot tub, two TVs equipped with satellite, fireplace on the main floor, fully equipped kitchen, and large deck that looks onto the main ski run out to the base. The house is also close to hiking trails to Haig Lake, Paradise Lake and Barnaby Ridge. Please note, the hot tub is often unavailable June-September.


**2021-2022 SEASON - Due to changes at Castle Mountain Resort, passes will NOT be included in your stay.

Guest access
You've got full access to the entire suite, which has its own entrance on the ground floor. Washer, dryer, full kitchen (with a massive oven!), two seating areas and three bedrooms are all your own! A fireplace adorns the main floor in front of the main picture windows. Additional firewood is available underneath the deck. The hot tub is located on the loft deck, along with room for enjoying coffee in the sun. Hot tub seats 2-4 comfortably.

Other things to note
We are located on a ski run, with the house backing onto the mountain. During the winter you are not able to drive directly to the house. You are more than welcome to park in the parking lot approximately 75m away and walk across to the house. We offer two large sleds to bring gear in. The walk is approximately 75 metres from the parking lot.

Cell service is not available past Beaver Mines however, WiFi is available at the chalet and in the Castle Mountain Resort base area.

Your best selection of groceries will be in Pincher Creek at the Co-Op in the Ranchland Mall. Beaver Mines General Store carries a small selection of necessities as well as a fantastic local liquor selection.

Uniquely located on a run, this is a great place to start your skiing or hiking journey. All of our neighbours are incredibly friendly and happy to help. The only noise at night is the groomer; no street lights here!
