Welcome to your luxe penthouse! You've never seen anything like this before in Metropolis! This 1500 sq ft swanky apartment has been renovated from the ground up with marble floors and hardwoods, 8 ft doors & 12 ft ceilings, a stylish claw foot bathtub and all glass showers! Two bedrooms (king/queen beds) and flat screen tvs. Two full bathrooms with back lit LED mirrors. Nothing has been spared in these. You can see harrahs casino from the front window (2 minute walk)... welcome high rollers!
The space
The apartment is located at the top (2nd floor) of a building built in 1900! This totally cool all brick building is only accessible by stairs, sadly there is no elevator. You must be able to climb stairs. Once inside, everything is all one level.
LOCATION:
The building is a 2 minute walk from Harrah's Casino. There is an Italian restaurant right across the street and a bar and grill 2 buildings down on the left.
You are less than a 5 minute walk to the giant Superman statue as well as the antique shops and more restaurants that are located on Market Street.
Fort Massac State Park is a 4 minute drive and is great for walking, checking out the forts, or watching the boats on the Ohio River.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
This 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need. One bedroom has a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a full glass shower and marble floors. The second bedroom has a queen bed.
The main bathroom has a full glass shower, claw foot tub, and marble floors. Both bathrooms have beautiful vanities with back lit LED mirrors and Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling.
The entire apartment has a water softener. Hair dryers, body wash, shampoo & conditioner are provided.
MAIN AREAS:
The kitchen and dining area has a table with seating for 4 and an island which can seat 3. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer and dishwasher. We also provide the essentials to get you started (coffee, filters, spices, olive oil, dishwasher pods, trash bags).
The living room has a lovely emerald couch and large flat screen TV. Log into all of your streaming apps, or watch Direct TV cable.
You will fall in love with the large, oversized windows and exposed brick wall. The tall ceilings and recessed lighting really make this space exceptional!
We love this apartment and have spent three years renovating it-- please treat it as your own!
BONUSES:
We are pet friendly and can provide a crate (at request for free) for your pets if they will be left in the apartment alone. It is suitable for any medium size dog and smaller. We can also provide a pack n play and high chair upon request free of charge.
Free street parking directly out front and also private parking behind back for our guests only.

We understand guests may have family or friends come and visit during the stay. We usually will allow this, if notified in advance and not an abundance of people.
**Out of respect for any guests that might be staying in our second Airbnb, NO PARTIES OF ANY KIND!** WE DO NOT ALLOW WEDDING PARTIES/BRIDAL GET READY EVENTS/BACHELORETTE PARTIES/ETC as it creates too much noise/traffic in the building **
$500 cleaning fee will be applied if this rule is not adhered to and potential removal from the building.
If you were considering staying with us for a wedding party prior to reading our house rules, there is a salon directly downstairs that you can book for that. Message me and I can assist you in that.
