Make memories with the family at this peaceful little spot on the Winter River. With the necessities provided in this rustic cottage, you're free to enjoy the privacy of this little home away from home, while also taking advantage of it's great location near Charlottetown, the North Shore beaches, and Cavendish. Relax around a camp fire in the evening after a great day spotting eagles, swimming, and paddling down the river from your door step!

The space
Down some of PEIs famous red dirt roads, you'll find this little gem nestled in a small community on the Winter River (please respect the speed limits and take care with the bumps). You'll have ample privacy, space to play, and waterfront access and beautiful views of the river! You'll have full use of this private cottage, and hopefully find all you need to enjoy your stay! Our little retreat is on the 'rustic' side so care and patience for hot water may be needed. Upstairs, in the loft, is a huge king size bed with stunning views of the river, as well as a balcony (take care, especially with young kids!). There is also a cozy bedroom with a double bed. We've added stacked cots in this room as well, as we appreciate their versatility for shifting sleeping arrangements if needed.
The Winter River is a special spot in PEI due to it's wildlife and privacy, and we hope you catch glimpses of it's beauty! We've provided a stand up paddle board and kayak for you to enjoy it (with life jackets of various sizes). Please note that while the location is idyllic, the area can experience high mosquito populations at certain times of the year. Various mosquito repellants will be provided but we recommend taking any necessary precautions to protect against bites during your visit.
