A double bed in the master bedroom, a comfortable folding single bed in the living room and a double sofa bed. A furnished outdoor gallery facing the Saguenay Fjord, a picnic table in a country setting. An outdoor fire area. Possibility of a high chair and baby playpen. Independent entrance.

Guests will have access to parking, the gallery, the picnic table in the backyard, the outdoor fire site and the loft attached to the main house with a full kitchen to cook their meals if needed. Also has a washer and dryer if needed.

Other things to note
The village of Sainte-Rose-du-Nord is the pearl of the Fjord, the view is magnificent and the walks on the quay and the surroundings are very pleasant. Sainte-Rose-du-Nord is close to two National Parks, Parc des Monts Valin is renowned for enjoying the abundant snow in winter and Parc Saguenay is a unique place to see belugas in summer. Tadoussac is only 45 minutes away and is the best place to see whales and the St. Lawrence River. Many outdoor activities are accessible near the village in summer and winter.

Restaurants are not open year-round, so it's best to let us know before you arrive to plan your meals in winter. Everything is at your disposal to cook your meals if you arrive with your small grocery store.

It will be possible in my presence only and on request to do laundry if needed for a small amount for laundry soap and drying.

Neighborhood highlights

Sainte-Rose-du-Nord is a tourist village of about 480 inhabitants. It is located on the north shore of the Saguenay Fjord between Chicoutimi and Tadoussac. It is part of the association of the most beautiful villages in Quebec because of its location in a valley at the entrance to the Fjord. There are picturesque and typical North American houses. The location of the Cottage is intimate and slightly set back in a quiet area. A few minutes' walk away there is a honey farm, a little further (10 minutes' walk) there are several trails with panoramic views and access to the quay promenade, restaurants, a bakery, souvenir shops, a vegetable market, a rustic church, a tourist center, a bar with beer from local microbreweries. Also the youth hostel offers sea kayaking trips. The village is a beautiful place to visit in winter as well. The proximity of the Parc des Monts-Valin and its ski and snowshoe trails is a must-see in the region. The regional snowmobiling trail is nearby and ice fishing is a typical winter activity in the village.
