A 5 bedroom, fully equipped home in the town of Blue Mountain Lake. Sleeps up to 10 people and 1 dog (additional $40). Enjoy all the Adirondacks has to offer from your own cozy house. In the summer months, guests have access to the private beach and boats at Hemlock Hall (check in first). The house has a yard with an outside grill and fire pit. The carport is large enough for multiple snowmobiles or bikes.
The space
The Hemlock House is a spacious house with the comforts of home. It is not directly on the lake, but guests have access to the lake at Hemlock Hall and the town beach. It sleeps up to 8 people. Pack and plays and other infant items can be available upon request. This house is a perfect basecamp for all of your Adirondack adventures, with special permission to access the private beach and boats at Hemlock Hall (in season). There is plenty of room to spread out. Guests have access to the entire house which includes a fully equipped kitchen, two full baths, laundry, a dining room, living room with TV. The sleeping arrangements are 5 bedrooms with 10 twin beds. There is a carport to safely store snowmobiles or bikes, a grill, and a backyard with room to play. It is on a main road, so traffic can be heard inside.
Dogs are welcome for an additional nightly rate of $40, and we ask for there to be only one dog in the home. We also require that you crate the dog if you will be leaving them in the home and that the dog be leashed, and it goes without saying carry in, carry out.
Guests at the Hemlock House will not receive daily housekeeping. Bed and bath linens and kitchen and dining ware are provided, but please bring bath and laundry soap and other comforts from home as needed. We ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave the house as you found it. A $65 cleaning fee will be added to your bill and if the home is left in poor condition an additional $100 cleaning fee will be charged.
The nightly rate at the Hemlock House is for lodging only. It does not include any meals at Hemlock Hall, however we hope that during our season Hemlock House guests will join us for breakfast and/or dinner. Reservations are required and can be made by calling our office. Please note, Hemlock Hall is currently closed for the 2025 season and reopens in June 2026

Neighborhood highlights
Every season in the Adirondacks brings something special. In the warmer months swim, paddle, bike and hike and in the winter months explore the trails in your cross-country skis or snowshoes. If you ski or snowboard, we are 35 min to Gore Mtn, 40 min to McCauley Mtn, 45 to Oak Mtn, and 90 to Whiteface. And snowmobilers can leave right from the driveway and access miles of trails and open lakes and can connect to the Old Forge, Tupper Lake or Speculator region.
