Other things to note
Our small 2 acre farm was originally a part of Whitfield Hall Estate and the building was once, the Wild Flower Lodge, an original structure dating back to the 1970s.
Renovations began a few years ago, preserving as much of the original design as possible. On our working farm, we care for hundreds of coffee trees, a growing apiary and a variety of exotic fruits. Due to our remote location we are completely off-grid. Our water source comes from a multitude of springs high in the mountain and our cabin is completely solar powered.
The climate is warm during the days and very cool evenings and nights. At times, we experience very strong winds and light rain. It is common for fog and mist to descend at a moments notice. Guests are encouraged to bring warm clothes.
It is our endeavour to preserve as much of the natural habitat as possible. We ask that guests be mindful and keep single use plastics at a minimum.
