5 minutes from Tsuru Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. 10 minutes by taxi from Tsuru City Station. It is an old house built 150 years ago, surrounded by quiet countryside. It was built in the late Edo period. When you arrive, please look up at the ceiling in the building. You'll notice the beams were carved out of logs by hand using a hatchet.
This area was once called "Hayasumi no sho". Tsuru City is a city of abundant water from Mt. Fuji. In the garden, there is a waterfall that draws water from the Natsukari district over the mountain pass. The ground of the campfire space is embedded with the remains of processed lava that governed the distribution of water from the Yamamura Dam, built during the Edo period.
You can enjoy a campfire and BBQ while looking at the waterfall, and the starry sky when the weather is clear. Rest your wings slowly in a space where the sound of the clear stream, the flames of the campfire, and the sound of the wood are woven together.
This facility is operated by the "NPO Sustainable County Regional Development Study Group", which is a group of volunteers living in the county (eastern Fuji Goko region). Management is carried out by Little Tree Co., Ltd., which utilizes forest resources in Kosuge Village and Doji Village.
The space
・ Check-in is self check-in with a key box. I will let you know the PIN code 2 days before your arrival.
・ You can have a campfire, tent sauna, and BBQ in the garden. Firewood is sold for a fee. Even in rainy weather, you can have a BBQ on the wooden deck adjacent to the main house. In addition, the indoor dining area is equipped with a ventilation fan. You can cook on the Irori fireplace and cook pot dishes.
* 500 yen/box, cedar and cypress dried firewood (Loki firewood from the water source using Doshi's thinned wood)
※ The tent sauna is 5,000 yen for use during the accommodation period. (5 bathrobes, liquid wax, firewood for one use, chair, manual included)
※ BBQ grill, charcoal, fire tongs, burner for ignition, igniter, BBQ table: 6 people can use the equipment.
No smoking inside. Please smoke on the BBQ terrace adjacent to the room.
・ In winter, heating is available with a firewood stove.
・ Up to 7 sets of futons can be prepared in the bedroom. The bedrooms can be partitioned with roll curtains. There is also a separate Western-style room with 3 beds.
・ Feel free to read the books on the bookshelf in the building. Please take them indoors, outdoors, or to your favorite place. We do not lend or sell books, so please return them to the bookshelf after you have finished reading them.

Guest access
5-minute drive from Tsuru Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Free parking spaces are available in front of the facility (1 car) and behind the facility (2 cars). There is a 7-Eleven (Tsuru Kanai store) within a 5-minute drive. There is a supermarket, Koseido (Tsuru store) within 15 minutes.
