Welcome to our old farm in Grabin. I hope you will love this place as much as I and my family do and can relax here.

In summer, the sunny, sheltered garden invites you to eat outside, laze around, play or celebrate. In the cozy eat-in kitchen, you can cook and talk until late into the night.

The maximum occupancy includes children - for pure adult groups 8-9 people is more comfortable, but more is also possible by arrangement.

The space
This old brick house has been lovingly preserved with its original windows, doors, planks and parts of the furnishings. In summer it is pleasantly cool and in winter warm due to the central heating, the fireplace and the wood-burning stove.

Since the previous owner was a wheelchair user, all areas are wheelchair accessible.
During the renovation, we placed emphasis on ecological solutions and minimizing the carbon footprint. The comfort should result from a well thought-out room layout and high-quality furnishings. Most of the furniture and accessories are second-hand and therefore suitable for allergy sufferers. You won't find aggressive household chemistry, polyester, and cheap disposable products here.

The garden with the terrace, various seating options and a porch swing invites you to linger, relax or celebrate.

The heart of the house is the cozy eat-in kitchen with sofa and wood stove.

Room 1 (23 m²) has a 160-cm double bed and a sofa bed, as well as a private bathroom with shower.

Room 2 (23 m²) has a 160-cm double bed, a bunk bed, and a small child's bed.

Room 3 fireplace rooms (29 m2) can be used both as a living room and, thanks to a new, very comfortable sofa bed as an additional bedroom for two people.

There are two generally accessible bathrooms (one with a bath shower and one with a corner bathtub).

All rooms have a small table/desk as a mobile workplace.

Additional mattresses/baby beds can be placed anywhere by arrangement.

Guest access
Currently, the ground floor, the garden and the barn are available for guests.
The attic, basement and utility rooms are closed - access on request.

Other things to note
Our aim is to provide guests with small children with a relaxing stay.
The biggest advantage is the safe, enclosed courtyard, which offers many attractions for small children near the terrace (paddling pool, sandbox, mud kitchen, watering cans and sprinklers in the heat). For older children, there is a trampoline in the barn and the remaining farm buildings can be used for exploring and hiding. There is a field for soccer, boules, badminton or floorball. The entire village and surroundings with forest and meadow are also open to you because it is low-traffic and safe.
A 22" children's bike and a balance bike (plus helmets) are currently available for our little guests.

Exquisite toys, books and board games as well as a chest with costumes provide entertainment in rainy weather.
For babies, we have 2 cribs, 2 high chairs, stools, changing table, diaper bucket, baby tub, blender, first aid pharmacy and basic hygiene items. If necessary, laundry can be washed.

Where you’ll be

Grabin, Lubuskie, Poland

Far from the thoroughfare, in the middle of the woods, lies the sleepy Hufeisendorf Grabin. The center of the horseshoe forms the small church and the manor house with its park. The former name of the village of Krämersborn is an indication of the fresh water springs, which are available in many places in the village. Up to 60 m of height differences create baroque panoramas in the gentle light on the outskirts of the village, which shines through through the leaves of the old avenue trees. On 1920s and 1930s postcards, Krämersborn presents itself as a lively resort for Berliners.

Today, most beautiful old houses in the immediate neighborhood are empty, retirees living in the rest of the retirees. You can trust that your privacy will not be disturbed by noise or curious eyes.

Within 15 km there are several swimming lakes. The small, clean Grabin lake with a grass beach is just under 2 km above a sandy forest path.

Wild and unspoiled is the river Gryżynka above the fish ponds behind the village: marshes, waterfalls and canyons with surprising height differences to the must-see village of Gryżyna. After 10 km, the black hiking trail leads right outside our door. At Lake Gryżyna there is a great beach with wooden jetty, pedal boat rental, canteen and a great sauna with private water entrance.

The river Pliszka is unique in its wild beauty 25 km. In Gądków Wielki organized canoe trips are offered.

Łąki Dobrosułowskie (20km away) is the largest Hirschbrunst in Europe that attracts hunters and photographers from near and far. But even at our home, you can hear the deer roaring in the surrounding meadows in September and October and watch them from the booth.

Łagów with the Johannitten Castle between turquoise lakes, is a local tourist magnet. If you haven't been there yet, you should do it alone because of the rich gastronomic offer.

Likewise, Zielona Góra is worth a day trip, best reached by car ferry via the Oder in Pomorsk or Brody.
