The space
The haus is spread across two floors on a large corner lot just one row back from the bay. On the main floor are the living room, dining area, kitchen, a full bath, and two bedrooms.

The second floor is a large lofty main bedroom suite, with big windows facing every direction. It's like it's own studio, with a queen bed, full bathroom, wet bar and private balcony.

Each bedroom has a window A/C unit, but you probably won't need them - we get excellent breezes from the bay. The house has speedy Verizon FIOS, and each TV has a Roku.

Neighborhood highlights

Cherry Grove is the oldest LGBTQ community in the country, and one of two on Fire Island (the other is the Pines, less than a mile away). Cherry Grove has a great variety of restaurants (Island Breeze, Sandcastle, Top of the Bay, Cherry Lane, Floyd's, Sweet Licks, CG Pizzeria), bars (Ice Palace, Cherries), and stores. There are lots of fun drag shows and music events, along with an amazing beach. It's a fun, laid-back unpretentious community where everyone is welcome.
