Two refurbished WWII army barracks joined into a simple, welcoming studio:

Hapua sits beside a tranquil lagoon, alive with kererū, tūī, fantails and ruru (morepork). Wander the boardwalk, sit by the water, or slow down in the shade of a big old oak tree.

Hapua is located in the beautiful Tukituki Valley close to Mt Kahuranaki - "Sacred Mountain". Most of the time the only sound you hear is the birds singing and the frogs croaking. Hapua has a Class 2 Bortle rating for its night sky and darkness, make it ideal to observe the stars and other celestial objects.
