Happiness By the Beach is located in the heart of Puntas, Rincon PR. We are right across the street from the beautiful Sandy beach, breathtaking beach views, restaurants, mini market, surfboard rentals, beach front yoga classes and more. At our place you'll enjoy beautiful, elegant, modern and comfortable lodgings with access to a beautiful patio with a relaxing pool with sun loungers for sunbathing, grill area, and luxurious lounge area patio furniture under an opulent pergola. The space
Happiness By the Beach is an exclusive, beautiful, modern, recently renovated building with 2 apartments and two studios on the first floor. The second floor has 2 separate apartments. The main entrance leads to a beautiful patio with an opulent pergola, underneath which there is an exquisite lounging area with luxurious outdoor patio furniture and an awesome grill area. In the patio you'll also find beautifully relaxing pool, a gorgeous mural by local artist, Albert Padilla, and sun loungers for sunbathing. The entrances to Units 1-3 are on the right side of the patio with glass doors and windows to let in the light and to appreciate the view of the patio from the inside. Hotel-like black out curtains are installed for the guest to use should you desire privacy. The entrance to Unit 4 is completely separate, on the right side of the building.

Unit 4 is a studio equipped with a full bed, kitchenette, workspace, TV and bathroom.

Units 4 features include: Plush full bed, bed and bath linens, flat screen smart TV, complimentary secured wireless internet, private bathroom, microwave oven, fridge, coffee maker, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and beach towels.

The enclosed property includes a beautiful pool, sun loungers, luxury patio furniture, gas and coal grills (BBQ) and outdoor shower.

The whole building is equipped with an automatic generator to protect your vacation investment from common island power outages.

The neighborhood in very walkable, but you will most likely want a car to go downtown, visit other beaches and other parts of the island and to do grocery shopping.

There is free onsite parking at the property and on the street.

Other things to note
While we provide internet service, generator in case of very common power outages and water in case water goes out as well, we do ask that you are conscious that these are not fail proof. We have a regular maintenance schedule to keep our premises and our services in the best conditions possible. If any of these were to fail during your stay rest assured, we will do everything in our power to resolve the issue in a timely manner, also taking into consideration the maintenance personnel and technician’s availability and abilities.

*If the power goes out, Unit 4 is the closest to the generator and unfortunately noise is to be expected. We can provide earplugs if needed.

Where you’ll be

Rincón, Puerto Rico

Puntas, Rincon is a crown jewel of Puerto Rico situated on the furthest west point of the island, a friendly neighborhood surrounded by world-class surfing beaches and gorgeous nature. Walking around you'll find friendly neighbors doing their morning walks, a coffee and smoothie bar and a beachfront brunch spot. You'll have a mini-market at a 2 minute walk and crossing the street an excellent beachfront restaurant. There is direct access to the breathtaking Sandy beach at several intervals across the street from our property, a place for surfboard. you'll also find a spot for SUP and kayak rental and surf lessons, several boutiques including Mango and Alma Viva, you can have brunch at Island House Restaurant right after your beach front yoga classes.

A short drive away, you'll find the beautiful lighthouse where on a clear day from January to late March you may catch a a glimpse of the whales. next to the light house you'll find the world class surf beach Domes. On the way to the lighthouse you'll find along the beach the community forest La Armonia, which has beautiful trails along the beach. For sunsets, any spot is good, but a favorite is at The Beach house, where you'll have a view of the sunset, the lighthouse and Domes. Head downtown and on the way you'll find Steps beach, Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, and Black eagle beach where you can rent paddle boards from Rincon Paddle boards, have lunch fritters and a cold beer at El Ancla or do some fine dining at La Copa Llena. Also for fine dining you can go to Estela, Taste, or one of our favorites, Vacas Gauchas for an exquisite steak and wine dinner.

In downtown, for nightlife do not miss Taqueria Vatos Locos and their awesome Tequila Bar, have a taste of some local brews at Rincon beer Company and check out Gylro's for some amazing mixology and live music.

Last but not least, you should absolutely not leave town without having the BEST brunch at Isla Restaurant.
