Welcome to Haaris, a bright and welcoming 62 m² home with two bedrooms where you can enjoy the best of Tampere while feeling at home. Close to the city centre and Lake Näsijärvi, it's a peaceful base for families, friends and business travellers alike.
Whether you're here for a weekend or a longer stay, Haaris combines the convenience of being close to the city centre with the peace of nearby parks, lakeside walking trails, a swimming pier and free parking.
The space
Guests often describe Haaris as cosy, exceptionally well equipped and one of the best Airbnbs they've ever stayed in. 💛 Many say it feels like coming home – and that's exactly what I hope Haaris will be for you.
Every detail has been chosen to make everyday living easy, whether you're staying for a weekend, a few weeks or even a few months. You'll find everything you need to cook, relax, work or simply enjoy time together.
After a day exploring Tampere, unwind with a board game, play Nintendo Wii, browse a book from the bookshelf or roll out the yoga mat for a quiet moment. Families have also appreciated the toys, children's books and baby essentials that make travelling with little ones much easier.
Before becoming Haaris, this apartment was home to Hilja for 46 years. When I moved in, I carefully renovated it to create a brighter, more open home while preserving the homely atmosphere that made it special. Today, I'm delighted to share Haaris with guests whenever I'm away, hoping you'll feel just as at home here as I do. 😊

A peaceful location in the heart of Tampere
Haaris is tucked away at the end of a quiet, tree-lined street, right next to Soukanpuisto park, playground, skate park and a dog park and close to the shores of Lake Näsijärvi. Although you're just a short walk from the city centre, the neighbourhood feels calm and relaxing.
Everything you need is within walking distance:
• Train station – 15-minute walk
• Vapriikki Museum – 5-minute walk
• Särkänniemi Amusement Park – 20-minute walk
• Bus stops – 2-minute walk
• Grocery store – 3-minute walk
• Swimming pier – 3-minute walk
• Lakeside walking trails and outdoor gym
During your stay, feel free to borrow the picnic blanket, cooler bag and Mölkky set for a relaxing afternoon in Soukanpuisto or by the lake.
Building information
The apartment is located in a residential building with a functional elevator. The lift is 71 cm wide and may not meet current accessibility standards.

Other things to note
A few helpful things to know before your stay:
• The apartment doesn't have air conditioning. Thanks to windows on both sides, it's easy to create a refreshing cross-breeze on warmer days. Each room is equipped with a fan for extra comfort.
• A railway runs behind the building, which is common in central Tampere. Most guests aren't bothered by it, but you may occasionally hear passing trains.
• During the colder months, the floors can feel a little chilly. Cozy wool socks are waiting for you in the living room.
• The building has a functional elevator (71 cm wide). While it operates smoothly, it may not be suitable for larger wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
• Both bedrooms offer generous wardrobe space, with additional hanging storage available in the hallway.
• Pets are welcome! Soukanpuisto, lakeside walking paths and a dog park are all just a short walk away.
