The space
The Yellow Wagon!
The wagon was last used in the 1950s by the touring circus worker Stig from Sillaröd and is now placed on an open meadow with unobstructed views in two directions.
It has been completely renovated with recycled materials and is free of unnecessary details to create as calm and undisturbed an environment as possible. Inside there is a double bed with bedding in natural materials, as well as a table with stools and a bench.
There is no built-in heating in the trailer, but blankets are provided to keep you warm. The trailer does not have 230V electricity, but there is the possibility to charge the computer at your outdoor kitchen under the roof. A solar panel supplies the trailer with simple lighting and the possibility of USB charging.
The toilet is a classic outhouse, about 30 meters from the trailer. The shared outdoor shower with hot water is about 20 meters away, and it is sometimes also used by the volunteers who currently live on the farm and help out.
Everything is built with recycled materials.
Please note that the trailer is located on a meadow belonging to the farm, and the nearest building is a barn, about 50 meters away, where your outdoor kitchen is also located.
Wi-Fi is not available but there is good reception for mobile.
Electrical outlets with built-in USB sockets are available in the kitchen as well as by the double bed for easy charging.
For those who come by bike, we are a certified bike point and offer the following for you wheeled guests:
- Safe storage of bicycle.
- Possibility of washing the bike.
- Possibility to repair bicycle.
- Foot pump.
- Bicycle oil.
- A few tools.
- List of bicycle repairers.
- Map of bike tours in the nearby area.
You can get to the village of Kölleröd by public transport by bus from Hörby. From the Kölleröd stop, it is about 200 meters to the accommodation.
Guest access
The trailer itself and the area around it are completely yours.
You have access to a large outdoor kitchen under a roof, equipped for both cooking and meals. This kitchen is built together with a barn wall, 50 meters from the trailer. Adjacent to the barn, there are also volunteers sometimes. However, they are not in your kitchen and it is secluded but you are not completely alone in the area.
However, the trailer and its immediate surroundings are completely private for you during your stay.
Other things to note
It is a farm with other animals so unfortunately we cannot allow pets during your stay.
