The space
Welcome to the Green Moon Lodge – a one-of-a-kind eco dome retreat nestled in the jungle above Montezuma. I created this magical space to blend artistry, nature, and comfort in a truly unforgettable setting. Built by hand with love, each of the 1,200 aircrete blocks was crafted on-site, making this home as unique as the rainforest that surrounds it.
I’ve decorated the space with original artwork by myself, friends, and local artists. It’s a place designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and fully immerse yourself in nature. Monkeys, butterflies, and hummingbirds are regular visitors – this is jungle living at its finest.

Montezuma is a lovely little beach village on the Nicoya peninsula of Costa Rica, by the Pacific Ocean. You find beautiful beaches, refreshing rivers, waterfalls, tide pools, and lots of jungle life all around you. We are surrounded by several nature reserves so the area is well protected from large developments.
The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood 1.5km/1mile uphill from Montezuma center and beaches. Monkeys are seen a lot around here, as well as many birds, butterflies, and small animals like agoutis and coatis.
Montezuma center offers locally owned restaurants, a bar, a supermarket, live-music, an artisan's market, small shops, a weekly beach market, etc.
There is a small restaurant close by the dome house, they offer a great selection of local dishes for lunch and dinner.
Activities include yoga, canopy ziplining, ATV rentals, snorkelling, horseback riding, jungle hikes, and surfing. An extraordinary highlight are bioluminescence tours, where you can swim in the ocean at nightfall with spectacular blue neon glow surrounding you. Something truly unforgettable!
