Sleep under the stars in a private loft suspended inside a lush, working greenhouse dome. A skylight above your plush king bed offers stunning night-sky views. Downstairs, harvest from indoor U-Pick vegetable beds and cook in a fully stocked, dedicated guest kitchen. A premium La-Z-Boy queen hide-a-bed with an air topper provides unmatched comfort for extra guests. Unwind in the soaking tub, or take in the sights and sounds of nature on the patio.

The space
Set against the rugged beauty of North Idaho, our farm features acres of partially wooded fields and sweeping meadows. We invite you to wander the landscape, taking in the shimmering aspens nestled among towering pines and firs. Keep an eye out for wildlife, we frequently have deer wandering through, as well as bunnies, porcupines, owls, eagles, and occasionally moose.

Because we are a working homestead, the land is always cycling through natural seasons of growth and recovery. This year, we are practicing regenerative farming by letting our main outdoor garden beds rest and restore their nutrients. While those beds lay fallow, there is still plenty of agricultural life happening outside the dome! You will likely see us tending to our scattered berry patches, preparing the soil to expand our orchard of fruit trees, or tilling up some beds to incorporate fresh compost. Say hi to the farm dog, Darlene and if you see them, our two farm cats, Skimbleshanks and Sue!

Guest access
The Grounds: You have exclusive access to the greenhouse dome with its patio. It is equipped with a complete kitchenette and has a bathroom that includes a shower, a soaking tub, and laundry facilities. We also encourage guests to explore the 15 partially wooded acres surrounding the dome—feel free to roam anywhere up to the fence line.

Sleeping Arrangements (Max 4 Guests): The greenhouse comfortably accommodates up to four guests across two shared beds. (Please note: Our four-person capacity assumes guests are comfortable sharing, as we do not have single beds or additional cots available.)

1) The Stargazing Loft: A private, elevated loft featuring a plush king-sized bed positioned directly under a skylight. Because the greenhouse lets in abundant morning sun, we provide premium sleep masks so you can sleep in as late as you like.

2) The Lounge: The downstairs living area features a premium La-Z-Boy sofa that easily converts into a queen-sized hide-a-bed. It includes a built-in air topper to ensure downstairs guests get an excellent night's sleep.

The Kitchen & Raised Beds: Cook straight from the soil and enjoy any pantry staples, ingredients, or complimentary wine and beer you find appetizing. We keep the fridge well stocked (Note: Please message us prior to your stay if you have food allergies or would prefer we remove the alcohol).

Get Your Hands Dirty: Have a green thumb? Guests are more than welcome to plant, prune, weed, or water the greenhouse beds. We find it deeply relaxing and invite you to join in!

Local Swimming: A public-access boat launch with a great swimming dock is located just one mile away. It makes for a beautiful walk or a very quick drive.

Other things to note
CAUTION : Pets and small children are a poor fit for this space. There are gardening supplies and low planter beds on low shelves that are very tempting to dig into and play with resulting in large messes, and the property has acres of field (no yard!) surrounded on 3 sides by rusty barbed wire fence.

To ensure you have the best possible stay, please keep the rhythms of a working farm in mind:

Nature’s Alarm Clock: The greenhouse architecture lets in abundant, glorious morning light, meaning summer sunrises are early. We provide premium sleep masks, but please be aware that our resident rooster (and the neighbor's!) will likely be crowing around 5:00 AM in midsummer.

A Living Ecosystem: Where there are thriving, organic vegetables, there is insect life. Our grow beds are well-managed, but you will share the space with beneficial bugs like ladybugs and lacewings (which may be attracted to evening lights), as well as stingless, solitary bees that live inside to help pollinate the plants.

A Working Homestead: You are visiting an active property. During the day, you will see people coming and going from the main house and nearby barn. You may occasionally hear tractors or other farm machinery as we complete our daily chores.

My work: I design hand tools
I'm a hobby farmer who loves building things as much as growing plants or raising livestock. My day job is designing hand tools, but I spend nearly as much time puttering around the farm, weeding, irrigating, driving tractor, or fixing fences.
