Accommodation (One bed room studio in a cottage with 2 independent studio rooms) located in a gated farm. Calm and serene village locality, 2km off National Highway. We cultivate coconut, spices especially nutmeg, pepper, and seasonal vegetables. The purely organic farm follows traditional and natural methods unlike modern high intensive agriculture (expect to see weeds, vines, dry leaves, birds and insects). A cow and few hens are the only farm animals here.
Host's ancestral house is next to the cottage and his mother stays there, managing the farm with few helping staff from the village.
Village walk and visiting village work place like coir yarn making is a way to explore the area. Cycling through village roads, trip to nearby beach for sun set or early morning to spot fresh catch, visiting local temple and attending evening Pooja are few recommended serene and delightful experiences.
Local transportation can be arranged on request for day trips and sightseeing nearby.
