Furry friends welcome

Bring your pets along for the stay.
Escape the city to a simple country 'off line' hidden gem.

Wander around the property and find the fruit trees, vegie garden, the secret 'snug' with wifi, tv, books, 2 extra sofa beds and a place to hang out.

There are also chickens, ducks, 2 dogs, a young pony and rescue sheep to feed or watch and a fire pit.

The self contained flat is equipped for you to enjoy. The rustic seperate bathroom has a compost toilet and solar shower.

Fresh rain fills the tank to the shower and kitchenette.

The space
The Quacka guest house is self contained and quaint.

The property is 1.3 acres with animals, vege plot, fruit and nut trees. We use tank water only and rely on rain for our water needs.

You have a double bed, small lounge, ottoman that opens out to a single bed, 2 seat dining and kitchenette. The rustic outside bathroom has a solar shower and compost toilet. These areas are not disability accessible as there are stairs.

The ground around our property can be uneven due to the shape and slope of the land, bandicoot holes and pony hoof prints. Wear closed in shoes.

Behind your flat are quacking ducks and clucky chickens who supply fresh eggs for your breakfast.

There is a seperate 'snug' that visitors can use for extra room. There are books, wifi, tv, dvd's, games and puzzles. There are als 2 additional fold out sofa beds and sleeping bags provided.

The 'snug' is a shared space with the hosts at times.

Guest access
Come through the front gate, please close it once inside and drive up to the 4 bay shed. Your flat is the last bay on the right. Park anywhere in that vicinity and make yourself at home.

Other things to note
Our property is close to Boat Mountain Conservation Park. About 10 minutes to Murgon and 20 minutes to Goomeri where they have the Pumpkin Festival every May.

Bjelke Peterson Dam and the Moffatdale wineries are 20 minutes away and the monthly Nanango markets are worth seeing too and are 45 minutes away.

We are on a hill, so winds can be strong at times. Bring a warm jacket and closed in shoes.

Our distant views of the area are incredible! Bring your camera.
