GoochLife is a Lake Michigan home oasis located in Beachwalk at Stop 7. Come explore the extensive renovations in Beachwalk (pool, new splash pad, expanded pool deck, Lake Kai boardwalk, fishing piers, basketball court, activity center, putting green, new “Town Center”, and we now have a brand new Cason Park Playground! GoochLife is centrally located and a short walk to everything which makes it the perfect location for those who would like to escape to the beautiful beach of Lake Michigan.
The space

If you have visited Beachwalk before, you are in for a surprise….Be sure to check out all of the improvements that have been made in our neighborhood which include: New expanded pool deck and area, new splash pad, Lake Kai boardwalk, and beach, fishing piers, basketball court, activity center, putting green, pickle back has been added to the newly updated tennis court,and brand new Club House. We now have a brand new Cason Park Playground! GoochLife is a short walk to everything which makes it the perfect location for those who would like to escape to the beautiful beach of Lake Michigan.
Gooch LIfe’s kitchen is fully stocked with high end appliances, dinner ware, pots & pans, knives, 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, an ice machine, a full size beverage fridge, insta pot, Keurig coffee machine, and much more! The goal is for you feel at home. All bathrooms are stocked with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. The Laundry room has a washer and dryer and enough supplies to last a week.
During summer months, there is a beach wagon, 2 beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, and several beach toys for you to use during your stay.

Snowy Season: ALL snow removal is the responsibility of the guest. We do not have the means to take care of snow, ice, or any other product of weather. Lake Michigan can produce A LOT or a little bit of snow and ice at any time (Lake Effect). Some times weather is predicted and sometimes it comes out of no where. What I’m saying is…it’s completely unpredictable. All guests need to be aware that you will need to be able to fend for yourselves! Sidewalks, stairs, porches, and driveways can get very slippery when icy.

Guest access
Guests have access to all of Beachwalk’s private amenities. Wristbands (included with your rental) must be worn by all guests 4 years and older. Amenities include the Pool, Lake Kai, a new Activity Center with Bocce ball and Shuffle board, kayaks and paddle boards, tennis court, fishing dock, putting green, boardwalk to Lake Michigan, basketball court, tennis court, and all parks.
Porta crib: You may use the portacrib located in the master closet. If you borrow the sheet, please launder it and leave where you found it. Please clean and wipe down before and after use. This is not part of our cleaning schedule, so know that other guests may have also used it. Please clean it to your expectations before and after use.
Beach chairs, beach umbrella, all terrain beach cart (located on side porch): These are for your use if you desire. They are not part of our cleaning schedule, so know that other guests may have also used them. Please clean them to your expectations before and after use. Please only use the beach chairs located on the side porch.
Please wipe off and return to screened in side porch when finished. ***These items are available when weather permits and will be put away in the off season
Other things to note
GoochLife’s kitchen is an entertainer’s dream with high end appliances, 2 full size refrigerators, 2 dishwashers (no dirty dishes sitting in sink), large farmhouse copper sink, large concrete island that seats 4, full size ice machine (cooler ice for beach and pool), a instapot, Keurig coffee maker, and much more!
You have your choice of eating inside at the custom made table for 10 or the roomy screened-in side porch with ceiling fan and large smart tv. You share access to the gas grill (no running to store for propane) and have sole access to the beautiful front yard fire pit.
If you must work while staying at GoochLife, the dedicated office is off of the master with one large desk and one built in smaller desk. The large walk in closet also located off of the master is large enough to use as a small nursery and you may borrow the portacrib. Please launder and re-packages after use *portacrib is not part of our cleaning schedule. It is offered as a convenience so please be considerate for other guests.
There is a large LoveSac bean bag in the spacious master, that a small child (8ish or younger) can sleep comfortably if you need an extra sleeping spot.
Our desire is for you to have a GOOCH vacation and we’ve tried to think of everything. Nothing has been missed!
