The Space
Inside the dome, contemporary design and the surrounding landscape come together in perfect balance. Wake to sweeping lake views from a queen-size bed dressed in luxurious linens, enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table, or unwind on the sofa beside the remote-controlled gas fireplace during cooler evenings.
The dome includes a mini refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, complimentary coffee and tea, and blackout curtains for those mornings when you decide to sleep in.
Introducing The Perch
New for Summer 2026, The Perch is our private outdoor kitchen and lounge, designed to make the most of Glashaus' incredible setting.
A short walk up the wooden steps from the dome leads to an elevated deck nestled beside the natural granite outcroppings, where panoramic views of New Melones Lake stretch for miles.
Whether you're making breakfast with the sunrise or grilling dinner at sunset, The Perch is fully equipped with a two-burner gas cooktop, removable grill plate, gas grill with built-in griddle, sink, cookware, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, and even a rice cooker. A two-seat bar lets guests relax with a drink while the chef takes center stage.
After dinner, settle into the outdoor sofa, sip a glass of local wine beneath the café lights, or relax in the rocking lounge chairs as the sun disappears behind the foothills. From sunrise to moonrise, The Perch offers some of the finest views anywhere on New Melones Lake.

Glashaus sits on 20 private acres waiting to be explored. Wander among the ancient granite formations, soak in the outdoor clawfoot tub tucked into the rocks, or rinse off beneath the open-air copper rain shower for an unforgettable connection with nature.
The detached spa-inspired bathroom features a walk-in shower framed by a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the lake, blending luxury with the surrounding landscape.
As evening falls, the property transforms with softly lit pathways, glowing trees, and warm landscape lighting that creates an unforgettable nighttime atmosphere.
Don't miss the Upper View Lounge, featuring chaise loungers, comfortable seating, a gas fire table, and a cantilever umbrella—the perfect place to watch the sunset give way to a sky filled with stars.

Enjoy the outdoor clawfoot soaking tub, open-air copper shower, gas fire table, and our Upper View Lounge with comfortable seating and panoramic views. (The outdoor kitchen and dining area are now located at The Perch.)
Lake Access: Although Airbnb may indicate the lake is a short walk away, there is no direct access to New Melones Lake from the property. The nearest public lake access is via Glory Hole Recreation Area, just a short drive away.
Fire Safety: Open campfires and wood-burning fires are strictly prohibited due to wildfire regulations.
Seasonal Fireplace: The gas fireplace inside the dome is turned off during the warmer months and is available for guest use beginning in the fall.
