Glasbergsboden is a traditional archipelago cabin with a double bed for 2 people and a small kitchenette. There is no electricity or running water on the island. On the beach, the rowing boat is waiting for you when you want to go on a discovery trip or fish for your own perch.

The space
With a dip in the sea, you take care of your personal hygiene and in the bay is the sauna raft that is booked separately before arrival on the island.
The island is your living room and the shed your bedroom, where Glasbergsboden is the only house on the island.

Guest access
When you arrive in Hamnsundet, we will pack your luggage in the classic folk boat and push you out to the cabin. Transportation out to the cabin and back to Hamnsundet is of course included in the price. You can also choose to rent a kayak from us in Hamnsundet and paddle out to Glasbergsboden yourself while we carry your luggage up to the cabin.

Other things to note
Glasbergsboden is a perfect place as a base camp for kayaking trips in the Northern Åland archipelago combined with island hikes to, among other places, Boxö Cave, the fortification ruins from the First World War and Boxö Nature Reserve. Kayaks can be rented from the host in Hamnsundet.
