Our cottage is ideal for families who want to relax, enjoy nature, and share quality time together in a safe and unspoiled setting.

The space
Your 70-m² cottage is part of a renovated former farmhouse, which comprises two independent cottages and our own home. Each gîte has its own private space and access to the shared garden. The setting remains quiet and private.

La Gerbaudie is a farmhouse located at the foot of Roc de Courlande on the western slope of Sancy, featuring majestic reliefs, sharp peaks and deep valleys.

We are only 5 km from the La Stèle cross-country skiing and mountain biking area and 8 km from the Chastreix-Sancy alpine ski resort. You can conquer the peaks of the Massif du Sancy from the house.

Chastreix is a peaceful village close to us (4 km), with a tourist office and starting point for a multitude of hikes on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback.

We are neighbors of the Chastreix-Sancy Nature Reserve, an ancient glacial valley at the foot of Sancy. A true green setting with breathtaking landscapes, in unspoiled nature rich in exceptional flora and remarkable fauna.

The western slope also includes the Pavillon Bleu Lake of La Tour d'Auvergne (9 km away); the Haute Dordogne Valley with the spa town of La Bourboule and its magnificent Parc Fenestre (12 km away); and the spa town of Mont-Dore and its ski resort (20 km away).

A little further away but still very accessible from our home, the southern slope is home to Lake Pavin, the medieval town of Besse and the Super-Besse ski area (28 km away); the Chaudefour Valley Nature Reserve (30 km away); as well as the seaside resort of Sancy: Lake Chambon (33 km away).

Regarding amenities, although in the heart of nature, you will find many shops in the surrounding villages:
