Vacations are times to unwind and spend time with the family, including your four legged dog(s). With a large yard (3000m2) and a pool (7mx8m) you can enjoy outdoor games that we provide, or you bring. What surprises people time and time again is the quality and lack of people of our beaches. If biking or hiking is your thing you will appreciate the miles and miles of bike and hiking paths. Standing on a dune and seeing and feeling the ocean is unforgettable. I forgot there is also the wine.

The space
I want to stress that our accommodation has NO TV or Radio! What we have are LCD screens where if you bring a laptop, tablet, or phone content be streamed to. This means you will need to possess a Go ogle Account. Of course there is Wifi and it is remote working quality and not shared.

Both the accommodation and the wellness are are air-conditioned using reversible heat pumps.. You do not have to worry about being too hot or too cold.

Bedsheets, towels, and so on are provided and everything is cleaned and replaced, even if the previous guests have not used it. We do not reuse anything or assume anything is clean between guests. Hence we ask for patience and to respect the departure and arrival times as it takes 4-5 hours to clean the accommodation.

Guest access
The guests have their own accommodation with a yard that is only visited by the owners to maintain the pool, and mow the lawn if necessary. Otherwise the yard is not visited by anybody but the guests. To ensure as much privacy as possible, and as much usage time the pool is maintained at midnight and 7:30 in the morning.

You are in the limits of the village, but not center of village, where one side is a grape vineyard and the other side houses. It is a rural village, but you can walk to village center, albeit alongside the road for a little bit.

What about me? Hard to say what about me without getting long winded and mellow dramatic. I guess I am somebody who likes the oddity, the interesting. Live and let live is my motto, but the Swiss in me will say, "yeah, but there are rules". Kinda hard to separate the two? Ordered chaos? I do the gite because I grew up in touristic Canada. Every summer our town went from 300 people, to 10,000 people.
