The Chabespa gite is located at a height and offers you a 𝘃𝘲𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

It has 2 terraces, a bathroom with an Italian shower, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room, 2 bedrooms (a double bedroom with a 140 cm bed, and a dormitory with 2 140 cm beds, a 90 cm bed and a 130 cm sofa bed - sheets provided), a living room, and a small living room.

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

The house contains everything you need for your stay (bed linen, bath towels, toilet paper, pepper & salt, coffee filters, etc.).

The kitchen is very well equipped: dishwasher, filter coffee maker (filters provided), electric kettle, toaster, pressure cooker, blender, mixer, waffle maker, food processor, fondue dishes and raclette appliances, various pans and pots, many pie dishes, cakes, and gratins... We also provide an electric plancha-grill for barbecues (charcoal barbecues are prohibited in summer in the municipality).

In case of rain, the accommodation includes a well-stocked library for reading by the fire, as well as a number of CDs (the stereo has a jack and bluetooth connection), a TV with a DVD player (and many DVDs) and a USB and HDMI socket to connect your own devices, and a PlayStation 1 with some games. (Please note, the TV does not receive TV channels).

The house is also equipped with board games (Les Loups garous de Thiercelieux, Unlock, card games, backgammon, mikados, bang, abalone, awale, Chinese checkers, etc.) for evenings with friends or family.

In winter, we put 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗲𝘀 at your disposal.

A FAIR FOR EACH OF US

The house is the perfect base for walks, it is also located on the GR94 route.

Guides and topographic maps of the surrounding hiking trails are available in the house. We have prepared a selection of our favorite routes, some of which are 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻t 𝗮𝘂 𝗱𝗲́𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, as well as a 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 of 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲́𝘀 and local outings.

We have created treasure hunts (free, in French, only from June to September) for children and adults on hiking trails around the house, with puzzles to solve and a treasure to find - if you can, of course ;)

The "Le Buëch" river offers wild swimming that is appreciated by young and old, but there is also a more conventional leisure base (the Germanette) or a lake (the Riou lake), or the superb gorges of the Méouge.

For climbing enthusiasts, the village of Sigottier has a beautiful site, and there is the famous village of Orpierre 20 minutes away, or the via ferrata of Agnielle or Dévoluy, or other sites to discover in the tourist offices.

Other things to note
The house is heated by wood (wood provided). Hot water is also heated by the wood insert. To be warm in the cold season (and have hot water) you will need to make a fire. In summer, the water is heated by solar panels.

Neighborhood highlights

The house is located in a hamlet of 4 houses (of which only 2 are sometimes occupied in addition to this one), 500m from an educational farm (the farm of the mountain), 3km from the first village (Sigottier) and 6km from the first bakery/store (in Serres).

The countries of Büech are the transition zone between the Northern Alps and those of the South, the climate is Mediterranean mountain. Unknown region, it offers varied landscapes ranging from rocky peaks to lavender fields, to the border between the Mediterranean and the mountains. The sky is almost always azure blue, and locals will welcome you with a slight Provencal accent.

This area is ideal for a holiday off the beaten path and away from traffic.

Hi, I'm Zoe! I'm a host, but also and well before that, I'm an Airbnb guest. I always try to put myself in my guests' shoes and anticipate their needs, so that their stay lives up to their expectations. I also appreciate receiving constructive feedback that helps me further improve accommodations. When I travel, I like to be independent and feel “at home,” while knowing that I can count on the host if I need anything. So, this is how I approach hosting: You probably won't run into me, but I'll never be far away if you need me!
