Other things to note
Winter Maintenance -
- Our cabin is at the end of a public road that is maintained with plowing during the winter months.
- Our entrance and parking area may or may not be plowed when you arrive, we do not have plow services after each snow accumulation.
- We provide a snow shovel and ice melt for guests to use as they need.
- We appreciate your understanding in the limited winter maintenance provided because to provide full service would force us to increase rental charges for everyone.
- If you would like us to plow and shovel the walks, we can accommodate that on an as needed basis for an additional charge.

- Clarion River (National Wild & Scenic River) — Gentle Class I paddling with multiple access points; outfitters and a 61‑mile water trail section draw beginners and families.

- Clarion–Little Toby Rail Trail — ~18 miles of scenic crushed‑stone rail trail along the river and Little Toby Creek—great for bikes, strollers, and wildlife spotting.

My wife and I recently bought this property so I can spend more time where I grew up and share with my three boys what it means to be from Elk County. We are new to AirBnB and live in North Carolina so we are a bit nervous about how this is going to go. We aren’t in this to make money so much as share some of the same experiences that we have grown to love.
