Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Rest in comfort in a little casita with laid-back, rustic digs. Shared outdoor kitchen/bar. Shared outdoor shower and bathroom. Wifi. Pets are welcome! RIGHT OFF HWY 118 only 7 minutes from Study Butte/Terlingua. So CONVENIENT. Near Big Bend National Park! Area 118 is a legendary place frequented by numerous musicians and artists. Though you will find your privacy within your own quaint space, you may catch a musician or two picking guitar in the outdoor bar area! Viva Terlingua!

The space
Rooms are basic with heat and cooling, a shared outdoor kitchen/lounge/bar area, shared outdoor bathroom and shower (no lock, but a way to indicate occupation). Bathroom has a heavy covering. New showerhead. On-demand hot water. My home is on the property.

Hi! I bought Area 118 recently from the estate of a beloved community member and musician, Jeff Haislip. Since then, I've been working on improvements to the property. I look forward to all the great ideas I have coming to fruition. For now, our place is a perfect, comfy, simple Terlinguan place to stay mere minutes from town. We offer the best deal in town for a stay!
