The space
Built in 1880 The Franklin House was built as a single-family home, and has been added onto over the years. It has recently received a complete makeover. Completely updated electric, and plumbing as well as being hooked up to Boise's geothermal system for heat! Units also have ductless mini-splits for AC and backup heat. You are able to control the climate in your apartment.
All of downtown is walkable from the Franklin House. It's a premiere location for travelers working downtown, who don't want to have a car. Boise's Organic Grocery Store - The Boise Co-op is just a block away. The house is within walking distance of the Downtown YMCA and just a few blocks (4-5) from all the fun shops, restaurants, pubs, and bars that downtown Boise offers. The Boise River Greenbelt, with its biking and walking paths, is just south of downtown, as is the BSU Campus.
You can also head the other direction north to the foothill biking and hiking trails. Have a meal in Hyde Park, then rent a bike, and head onto the trails.

The Franklin house is located on the north edge of downtown Boise. The neighborhood is a combination of old historic homes, with some professional business offices. It is just 2 blocks from the Boise Co-op Organic Grocery Store. All of downtown is walkable from this location.
