Welcome to Fox & Badger. Find yourself at home in this rustic hand-hewn log cabin. Enjoy 3 acres all to yourself in the scenic valley and high bluffs of Rush Creek State Natural Area. Enjoy the morning view with coffee on the deck, relax in the evening with drinks by the fire or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Walk off the property onto 2,800 acres of public hunting, fishing, hiking, and wildlife adventure. Just 1-1/2 miles from the Mississippi River. Perfect in every season.

Walk out lower level Master bedroom with a private second living area.

CLIMBING STAIRS REQUIRED - 180-degree spiral staircase is used to navigate between the two levels.

The upper level loft is accessed by a ships ladder. Easy to navigate for young adults and children. The beds are very comfy.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the main level dining/living area is a great hangout for movies, eating and of course playing some board games.

We have shampoo, body wash, and plenty of towels for the bathroom.

We also have a few yard games, including corn hole.

We've tried our best to think of everything. So pack light and be ready to enjoy yourself.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole property (2.7 acres) including our own small hilltop trail with a great view. You will also have direct access to 2800 acres of public land that is located adjacent to the property.

Other things to note
-Cell service is sparse, but high speed fiber optic internet is provided.
-Gas for the grill is provided.
-Firewood for the fire pit is provided.

My wife Laurie and I have been visiting this part of the Mississippi every year for nearly 20 years now. Yikes, we're getting old! Day trips have turned into week long stays over the years. So when we went looking for a getaway of our own, location was a no brainer. We are so lucky to have found this place. We love it here and we hope you love it as much as we do!
