The space
Nestled on a hill overlooking our working farm of 44 ha (110 acres), the Farmstay offers a semi-detatched one bedroom self contained eco-cottage with picturesque views across the farm, bushland and the neighbouring vineyard.

Styled in the tradition of a 19th century Tasmanian cottage, this new build provides all the comforts and conveniences of a modern energy efficient dwelling.

The cottage is completely off-grid having low energy use, its own solar and battery electrical supply and rainwater tanks. Where possible refurbished building products and furnishings have been used in the interests of sustainability.

You can partake in farm life at your own pace, you are invited to:
• Pick herbs and collect fresh eggs for breakfast to enjoy with bacon that has been grown, naturally cured and smoked on the property.
• Wander around the farm, explore the gardens, take a farm tour or sneak a peak into the Meatshed & Farmshop.
• Spot some wildlife. Pipers Brook runs through the property and is home to platypus, pademelon, possums, spotted quoll, wombat, bandicoots, giant freshwater crayfish and many species of native birds.

Guest access
For the foodie, our artisan made charcuterie is sure to make your day.
• Order a tasting platter or build your own.
• Stock up on tasty meat & charcuterie.
• Get an insight into how your food goes from paddock to plate during a farm tour.

Other things to note
At Fork it Farm you can quite literally wake up and smell the bacon, thanks to a healthy spread of breakfast provisions and other fresh produce that come directly from paddock to plate.

Breakfast goodies are supplied including farm made bacon, eggs, sourdough, milk, juice, coffee, tea, butter and spreads. We also have a selection of heat and eat meals available for purchase direct from your accommodation and via the farmshop.

Lives in Lebrina, Australia
In 2017 we said 'fork it' to the stresses of city life, packed up our lives to become ethicurean farmers. We are a small-scale family run farm, consisting of 12 Berkshire breeding sows, a small herd of cattle, sheep, ducks, geese and bees. We also grow most of our own herbs and vegetables. Our goal is to produce ethical, flavourful food for the local market. Over the past 20 months we have developed our all-natural product range (in our on-farm facility), to utilise the whole animal, which has recently expanded to include our pasture raised duck, goose, beef & lamb. We are also currently developing a range of products which incorporate sustainably sourced Tassie wild game. We put a lot of love into everything we do at Fork it Farm and we love sharing our farm.
