Nestled in the heart of a marina on the English Rivera you will find Inspiration, waiting to welcome you, relax you and inspire you.

ABOUT THE INSPIRATION:
Well, it is just gorgeous! It is amazing, magical, romantic, unique and so very special!!!!

The Inspiration has two rooms, there is an open-plan living and sleeping space which includes the sitting area, bedroom and kitchenette. Bed size is 4 ft x 6ft 3”, there is also a sofa that does not open out but the base of it can be used as the mattress for a second bed which is good for short people but taller people will want to put the stool at the end of the sofa to extend the length and make it more comfy. The second room has the on board toilet with a manual flushing system.
SHOWER & W/C - In addition to the on board loo (which is really in case you want to go at night), you have 24/7 access to the marina conveniences. These are large, private, super clean, spacious shower-rooms. Each private shower room on the marina has a shower, large mirror, toilet, hair dryer and plenty of space, they even have soft-music-playing and under-floor heating! It is a nice and comfortable set up.
There are about 5 large private shower and w/c rooms for the ladies and the same also for the gents. This facility is only for the boat owners and their guests so they are usually empty. This is about 100 meters from The Inspiration and they are very convenient and beautifully looked after.
There is also a laundry room for guests and those laundry machines are coin operated.
SPACE ON THE INSPIRATION -The total length of The Inspiration is 24 feet and the width is 9 feet. People who are 6 feet + tall can easily stand inside it.
COOKING / DVDS - There is a microwave only for cooking and the TV screen just shows DVDs, there are quite a few DVDs to choose from. This is more of a dining-out place or takeaway at home place. There are masses of great restaurants nearby. If you are coming for a special occasion then we have special, hand-made cakes that can be delivered to you.
EXTRA CLEAN - The Inspiration is cleaned to an extra high standard.

A FEW HIGHLIGHTS ABOUT STAYING WITH INSPIRATION ON THE MARINA:
THE INSPIRATION - This is a cosy space and it is finished to a high spec. It is clean, elegant and charming.
THE VIEW - The majority of postcards that you will see of this area have the same gorgeous view that you will have from your deck, the beautiful sea and harbour views.
SWIMMING - You can walk 5 minutes to go for a swim at the closest beach, there is a huge sea pool 10 minutes’ walk away and there are about 10 stunning beaches that are a short drive from the marina.
CAFES & SHOPS – You will find lovely cafes and restaurants as you stroll down the promenade from the marina.
SIGHTSEEING – There are plenty of busses that go from the harbour and there is also a tour bus that will take you around the rest of The English Riviera. The ferry port is a 20 minutes’ walk along the promenade and there you will find the ferries to Dartmouth and Torquay, for nice days out.
RETAIL SHOPPING - There is a big retail park, about 20 minutes by car, if you want to enjoy some shopping.
PARKING DURING YOUR STAY - There is a car park across the street from the marina office.

PARTY VENUE
As this is not a party venue, if you think that there will be singing, loud noise and loud music, it would be better to choose another location for your party please.
SMOKING
For your safety smoking is prohibited in or on The Inspiration or the Marina itself, the smoking point is on the promenade. This is a harbour & marina law for your safety.
CHARMING SOUNDS
Under the roof of The Inspiration, there is a thick layer of honeycomb heat and sound insulation, for weather and noise protection. When you stay on a marina, you will have the sound of the sea, maybe the sounds of the masts from the sailing boats, perhaps you will hear the sea gulls and sometimes you may also hear the seals. These are unwanted noises for some people, yet charming holiday sounds for others.
COMFY BEDS
The comfy double bed has a very thick mattress and it is the size of a standard small double bed: 4 ft x 6ft 3” The single sofa bed also has a very comfortable mattress.
STABILITY
It is worth noting that even in rough weather, the water inside the marina is calm and as The Inspiration is on a catamaran-like structure, it is comparatively stable. You may find it easier to walk on the path between the boats when wearing flat shoes rather than high shoes / stilettos as it is like walking on decking with grooves.
WATER - Fresh water in bottles will be available for you but for general washing and for using the shower you have the use of the marina's lovely shower rooms, which is about 3 mins walk and less than 100 meters....from The Inspiration and it is open all the time and they are private - just for the use of the boat owners and our guests.
PLANNING YOUR DAY OF ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN... There is so much to see and do in the area that you may like to arrive early in the morning to make the most of your day, you can park in the public car park. You can then enjoy, the coastal walk or a stroll along the promenade whilst stopping in the the cafes and chintzy shops along the way or relax on the blue flat beach...these are all a few minutes leisurely stroll from The Inspiration. For coming aboard The Inspiration, you have a dedicated check in time of 15:00 and your concierge will be waiting to greet you and show you around at that time. If you would like a later check in time or you are running late then please do let us know so that we can reschedule your arrival time on The Inspiration. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Holiday Insurance
Please check that your travel insurance covers your possessions while staying with us as they are not covered by the property insurance. Our understanding is that this is the same with all holiday lets.
