This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Relax and unwind in this peaceful open-plan private studio in McKees Hill, NSW. Set on a 5 acre property being regenerated, overlooking beautiful gardens, it features a queen bed, fully appointed kitchen, bathroom, Wi-Fi, air con, laundry, private deck, fire pit and carport. Close to the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and nestled between Casino and Lismore — it’s the perfect base to explore this vibrant cultural region or simply switch off.

The space
The Studio is a contemporary, open plan space. It contains a fully equipped kitchen with quality crockery and utensils and a floating queen bed with extra comfortable Koala mattress.

Outside there’s a floating deck that is quite expansive and includes a barbeque area, with outdoor table and chairs. This flows onto a paved area with own firepit, including a stack of firewood. The outdoor space is perfect for reading, relaxing, enjoying the garden and birds and at night, experiencing the stars.

Please note there are no pets (Service Animals accepted) or smoking allowed inside or outside.

Our property is on a gravel road.

Guest access
The studio is private but not secluded. The main house is nearby, screened from view by walls and trees and garden beds separating the house and studio. You arrive at the studio from a separate driveway and you will have your own covered carport. You have a private view of lawns and semi-tropical gardens.

Other things to note
The property is a 15 min commute to Lismore or Casino so is perfect for long stay guests who are looking for a quiet place to relax after work.

We're in a quiet location but occasionally you may hear farm noises from our neighbours.

There is high speed wifi, but no TV. Tea and coffee, salt, pepper and cooking oil supplied.

You have access to your own laundry with washing machine and clothesline. The laundry is located next to the Studio.

We have a lovely old kelpie named Billy who will mostly keep to himself.
