The Field House is a cozy cabin, less than 3 miles from historic downtown Marshall, and is the ideal spot for a private mountain getaway. Enjoy all that Western North Carolina has to offer, with skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and white water rafting all within a 20-25 minute drive from the property. Less than 25 minutes to nearby Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, and Hot Springs.

The space
Built in 2023 by local builder, Nanostead, this Green Built Certified home is the larger of two "tiny house" vacation rentals located at Redmon Ridge. The Field House boasts a spacious living and dining space, full kitchen, two private bedrooms with queen beds, including one with separate porch entrance, a small sleeping loft, and a bathroom with full sized washer and dryer available for guest use. The queen sleeper sofa in the living room offers another place for sleeping. A large gated front porch allows for an additional living space and affords stunning views of the mountains year round. We recommend coming to the mountains to unplug and unwind, but lightning fast fiber internet and a 50” flat screen TV are available. Up to 2 dogs allowed with a $50 pet fee for each pet. Interested in renting both properties at Redmon Ridge? Check out our sister listing at https://www.airbnb.com/h/musicboxatredmon.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and porch. There is a shared fire pit with chairs located between the two houses that is available for use by guests in both houses.

Other things to note
Allow plenty of time to travel to the property. We do not recommend arriving after dark if it is your first visit, as the road to the cabin is very windy and it can be difficult to find the driveway in the dark. Your hosts will do everything we can to help, but we may not be available to assist if you call after 9pm.
