Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Welcome to my rustic Lodge located just 4.3 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park, which is known for having over 22 beautiful waterfalls. We're nestled in between 50 thousand acres of the largest state game lands in Pennsylvania where there's even more waterfalls, plenty of hiking, fishing and kayaking. After a long day outdoors, you can relax out on the deck beside the fire pit, cozy up with Netflix, or just sit down by the bridge at Fishing Creek.

The space
This second floor room is one of four rented rooms and has been newly renovated with gorgeous walls made from seven different kinds of wood and a new Serta® Memory Foam mattress. Relax in the evening across from the remote controlled, electric heater/fireplace and window AC unit. Charge your phone with a modern lamp/built-in USB charger.

This beautiful, one-of-a-kind King bed is hand crafted by woodworking artist, Terry Gensel, and is made with Red Cedar and gorgeous Black Walnut headboards.

This King room is in close proximity to the two very clean hallway bathrooms, which are one-person-at-a-time bathrooms with a privacy lock, just like in your own home.

Guest access
Fishing Creek Lodge has a convenient, full-sized guest kitchen that comes stocked with food staples.

There’s a Netflix movie/game lounge downstairs, a fire pit and gas grill on the deck. You can also stroll down the side driveway to relax by the creek.

StudioWalk™ Pottery Studio, Painting Studio and Library are a part of Fishing Creek Lodge! Professional art supplies are available for a small donation, and there’s also a FREE drawer for kids with coloring books and other lower-end supplies. Please notify me when booking if you’re interested in trying out some pottery during your visit.

Other things to note
Although our WIFI is strong and good for Netflix and work meetings, the phone signal isn’t the best as we are tucked in the mountains. We do suggest looking some things up on your phone at home or over wifi before you head out of the lodge. There’s a grocery story a few miles away in the town of Benton, a restaurant near Ricketts Glen State Park, as well as a local favorite restaurant just a few blocks up from the lodge! Just let me know if you have any special requests.
