Experience the magical beauty and tranquility of Firefly Farm, a 26-acre flower farm nestled in the lush countryside near the historic town of Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Immerse yourself in farm life. Stroll our paths and visit our farm animals. Take part in our seasonal delights: flowers bloom April to September, fireflies glitter at dusk during Summer while birds and butterflies delight during the day and Fall brings crisp air as the leaves change (as well as Witch Hazel's haunted barn)!
The space
The newly renovated Serenity Cottage features:
Spacious Bedroom: comfortable queen-sized bed with crisp cotton linens.
2 bunk beds with trundles, allowing larger families or groups to enjoy this serene retreat.
Inviting Living Area: cozy spot with a 42" TV and a selection of family-friendly books, puzzles, and games.
Fully-Equipped Kitchen: prepare delicious meals with fresh ingredients from local farms.
Outdoor Pool and Patio: perfect place for listening to the songbirds while enjoying your morning coffee or having an evening glass of wine.
Quiet Hours: 10 pm till 8 am
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire cottage and farm, including the flower fields, picnic areas, pool area, and gazebos.
We do ask guests not to open any closed gates or stall doors. Please do not enter any of the pastures with the farm animals.
Other things to note
Free parking (4 cars) and Wi-Fi available on-site.
Firefly Farm is a working farm; there will be farmhands on the property daily.
During the growing season (May - August), the farm is open to visitors Wednesday–Saturday from 9 am–5 pm for u-pick flowers; these visitors are not allowed near the cottage and pool area.
Free u-pick flowers in season for our farm stay guests.
All Saturdays in October the farm is open for the Witch's Haunted Barn and Pumpkin Patch; these visitors are not allowed near the cottage and pool area.
Free admission to the Haunted Barn for our farm stay guests.

Sorry, no pets allowed on the farm as we are a working farm. You may enjoy our farm animals during your stay.
