Do you want to experience the Finnish countryside at its most authentic, with a touch of luxury, and be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but with good transport connections? The place is only for guests, so you can enjoy your own peace and quiet! At the Farmarintuva in Ranua Portimo, this is possible! Distances approx. 50 km from Rovaniemi, approx. 20 km to Ranua Zoo.

The space
In the farmhouse, you can sleep comfortably, but if you also need a little pampering, sit in the warm hot tub, watch the northern lights and enjoy the countryside and its tranquility.
The apartment is neat and very spacious, Finnish-style farmhouse with a touch of luxury.

The house has up to 8 beds: 3 double rooms and one 1-2 person sofa bed, as well as a movable folding bed. A crib is constantly available.

There's plenty to do in all seasons, but if you miss it even more, it's a reasonable trip. There is an official snowmobile trail that goes a few miles away, so if you own a sled, take advantage of it!
In the summer, you can take a dip in the lake for swimming, fishing, angling, grilling…

The surrounding fields are treated according to the season, so at the time of the molten land, you may see how the fieldwork is being done.

We strive to give the opportunity to have the most stress-free vacation possible, allowing you to truly enjoy the vacation! We also work with a local real reindeer farm and help with booking their services if needed. Guest access
The entire building and courtyard are available to guests, so you can enjoy privacy. You can walk in nature respecting the rights of everyone. A private beach is available to guests.
Yard buildings and maintenance facilities are closed. If there are less than 6 guests, additional bedrooms may be closed.

Other things to note
The use of the outdoor hot tub is included in the price during the winter from November 1 to April 30. Otherwise, the pool can be rented for an additional fee of €100/stay.

We can be flexible with some check-ins and booking dates, so feel free to contact us even if the booking date is not yet open.

Various equipment is available for use during your stay (boat, fishing rod, game equipment, sled, propeller…)

Firewood is limited, but a reasonable amount/visit. For an additional fee, it is possible to buy more wood (5€/basket)
