The Master Bedroom at Fale Yau is a large double room. It has a king size bed. Seating area and desk. We had guests comfortably ‘Working from Home’ during Covid. There is a large ensuite bathroom with a shower and large separate tub. There is also a walk-in wardrobe. Air Con, ceiling fan, fridge and safe are all part of the room.
Guests are welcome to use all the shared space in the house including the pool, veranda, sitting room, dining room and the full kitchen.

The space
This is a large family home and our guests can access all areas on the ground floor: Kitchen, Sitting Room, Dining Room and a veranda with an adjacent swimming pool.

It is decorated in Litia's unique style which is a combination of style and comfort. She has taken a mixture of English/Fijian, Old/New that has welcomed friends and family to our home for years and now welcomes our guests.

It's a short walk to Albert Park, Museum, the CBD, restaurants & bars. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans & air con. It’s ideal for business travelers: Wi-Fi, printer, meeting spaces, safes and the hosts will facilitate your needs. Breakfast is included and other meals are available on request or cook your own. Help yourself to the 24/7 kitchen fridge. This is also the home for 2 dogs and 2 cats.

Guest access
Guests have access to all the common areas on the ground floor. Kitchen, Sitting Room, Dining Room, half bathroom a veranda with an adjacent swimming pool and garden.

During your stay
My wife and I live on the top floor so we will be around to help you with anything you need during your stay and always enjoy a good yarn with our guests. When we are not at home our house keeper, Litia will be present.

Other things to note
There are 2 cats and 2 dogs in the house. All are friendly. The dogs may bark a little on arrival but will settle down as soon as they are introduced.
Your room will be cleaned daily and sheets and towels will be changed twice a week. If you need them changing more frequently this can be arranged.
We provide a tropical breakfast every day. If you would like a cooked breakfast that can be arranged at an extra cost,
If you would like an evening meal you can share our supper. Let us know if the morning so we can prepare enough the price will vary depending on the dish.
The bedrooms have their own fridge and a safe.

Our home is located in the greenest part of central Suva with a large peaceful Garden. We are minutes walk away from the Fiji Museum, Albert Park, The iconic Grand Pacific Hotel. If you are here on business the Courts, Government buildings and the CBD are all within a 10-15 minute walk. Close by is the Ginger Cafe coffee shop, Paradiso Italian Restaurant and Cafe 30. The Metro Gym is only 200m away and Sea wall is close by for lovely walks.

We're Harry and Litia. A married couple living in Fiji. We met in the UK and had 2 children. We wanted them to split their childhood between the UK and Fiji. We are now empty-nesters and our kids have moved back to the UK. So we are left with an empty house and we want to fill our children's rooms. Don't worry they have been upgraded since they left, though we can probably find a dolls house if you want.
