About this place

It is far from downtown and takes 16 minutes by car. Kumamoto Prefectural Office, Suizenji Lake Ezu Park, and Kumamoto City Zoo and Botanical Garden are nearby. At Lake Ezu, you can see precious aquatic life, wild birds, and flowers. There is a lawn and a promenade around the lake, so you can enjoy walking or taking a stroll. In winter, many migratory birds arrive, including the globally endangered black-faced spoonbill and various ducks. There is also a boathouse, so you can enjoy boating in the summer.
