The space
We are located in a country setting on 4.5 acres in Alfalfa. We have outdoor seating in both the front and backyard flower gardens for your enjoyment. Take a break and relax in the gardens. Stargaze and enjoy the amazing night sky in Alfalfa, Oregon.
Your room has a portable electric oil filled radiator as the primary heat source. Your room also has an electric Cadet wall heater as a secondary heat source. The home's primary heat source is a wood stove.
A portable air conditioning unit is available during the summer months.
Guest access
You will access the house through the front door. A code for the lockbox will be provided after booking the reservation. The Red Meadow room is located at the end of the hallway and a code for your room door keypad will be provided. The private bathroom is located in the hall. A medicine cabinet and drawer are dedicated to the Red Meadow room.
You have access to the shared kitchen where there is a dedicated refrigerator, pantry, and storage drawers for your use. There is also a shared laundry area.
The community room is a cozy place with a woodstove where you can relax with plenty of comfortable seating, tables, books for reading, and board games.
Enjoy the flower gardens and inviting spots throughout the property while appreciating nature.
During your stay
Interaction with guest is available but we definitely respect your privacy. We live in the residence.
If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, you can text or call either Dan or Denise anytime. We are also available in person most days.
Other things to note
We have high speed Starlink internet with an outdoor WiFi access point that offers WiFi across our entire property.
Pets are generally not allowed.
We have a dog and a cat living in the house. Animals have access to parts of the shared spaces along with the outdoor areas.
Our very loving senior black lab who still thinks he is a puppy sometimes barks in the morning hours when he goes outside. And our energetic tabby cat has his regular outdoor zoomy time for your entertainment.
