This is your own space — not shared with anyone.

🏡 THE COMPOUND

5 minutes by scooter to central Ubud's cafés, yoga studios, and galleries. Walking distance to local rice field paths. Quiet enough to sleep with the window open.
Nearby highlights: Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Pura Tirta Empul, Tegallalang rice terraces, and dozens of local warungs serving the best nasi campur in Bali.

Other things to note
🌿 JUNGLE LIVING — A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Elephant House is set in a genuine Balinese compound surrounded by rice fields and tropical forest. This means a few things worth knowing before you arrive:
🐱 The compound has resident cats and dogs who roam freely — many guests love them; please let us know in advance if you have allergies or prefer them kept away from your villa.
🐛 Bali's tropical environment means the occasional gecko, butterfly, or insect indoors, perfectly normal and harmless. We keep the villa clean and treated, but this is nature, not neglect.
🌧️ Ubud has a green season (Oct–Mar) with afternoon rain showers — refreshing, not all day. The rice fields are at their most vivid during this time.
