Guest access
You'll have access to the entire cabin, including the spacious deck, hot tub, stargazing dome, and all living spaces. For housekeeping purposes, a few small storage areas are reserved for our cleaner. These include the hot tub supplies bin, the white storage bins above the kitchen cabinets, the cabinet above the refrigerator, and the top shelf of the lower bedroom closet. Some of these areas are locked to ensure they remain for staff use only.

Other things to note
✦ Location & Access:
Our cabin is nestled in a quiet mountain community at 9,000 ft. elevation, just 5 minutes off Teller County Road 1, with the final 0.80 miles being an unpaved dirt road that is maintained by the county. For parking, our driveway easily fits two vehicles with additional road parking available.

✦ 4WD Vehicle Required (November – April):
Due to our high altitude location and winter conditions, a 4WD or 4X4 vehicle is required from November through April. The dirt road to access the cabin can get slick in the winter months and snow can accumulate quickly on the roads during storms.

✦ Snow Removal:
Regular snow removal is provided after snowfall of 3 inches or more. You will also have access to a shovel on-site that you may use if needed.

✦ Check-in & Check-out:
Enjoy convenient self check-in with our keyless entry — we'll provide your check-in instructions 2 days before your arrival. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, though you're welcome to message us after 2:00 PM on arrival day to check if the property is ready early, though this cannot be guaranteed as we ensure perfect preparation for each guest.

Check-out time is 11:00 AM on the day of your departure.

✦ Groceries & Supplies:
Find your groceries at the Florissant Mercantile (10 mins), Divide Markets (15 mins), or head to Woodland Park (25 mins) for the widest selection at City Market or Walmart. We recommend stopping at one of these locations on your way to the cabin.

✦ Food & Drink:
Explore a variety of local dining options just a short drive away. Casual restaurants and bars can be found in Florissant, Lake George, and Divide (10–15 minutes), with even more choices in Woodland Park and Cripple Creek (25 minutes). For our top recommendations, check the digital guidebook we’ll send before your stay!

✦ Starlink WiFi:
Enjoy high-speed Starlink WiFi with speeds up to 250mbps, supported by a backup power supply to keep you connected even during rare power outages.

✦ Cellular Service:
As we are in a rural mountain area, cellular signal can be very spotty and varies by carrier. To ensure a smooth arrival, we recommend taking a screenshot of the check-in instructions before you reach the property.

✦ Fire Bans & Patio Fire Pit Table:
Open fires are strictly prohibited on the property due to wildfire risk. The outdoor gas fire pit table on the deck is available year-round but is subject to county fire restrictions. Please be aware that county mandates may restrict or prohibit the use of the gas fire pit during your stay based on current fire safety conditions. If a stage 2 or 3 fire ban is enforced by Teller County, the fire pit will not be available. Please book your stay with this possibility in mind.

✦ Laundry:
A washer and dryer are available for your use during stays of two or more nights, with “free-and-clear” detergent and dryer balls provided for your convenience.

✦ Baby & Toddler:
For families traveling with little ones, we provide a pack-n-play and high chair, conveniently located in the lower bedroom closet. Please keep in mind that the home is not fully childproofed. Extra caution is required around the spiral staircase and the gas fireplace, which will become hot during use.

✦ Pet Policy:
We welcome one well-behaved dog per reservation and provide the following essentials:
- Water and food bowls
- Waterproof tray
- Furniture pet protector blanket
- Waste baggies
- Lint rollers

‣ Pet Protector Blanket:
Your dog is welcome on the living room sofa when using the provided pet protector blanket, but we kindly ask that they stay off all beds. An additional $50 deep cleaning fee will be incurred if excessive hair is found on the beds or furniture.

‣ Pet Waste:
Please clean up after your dog during your stay; a $75 fine will be incurred if pet waste is found on property that has not been bagged and properly disposed of in the trash.

‣ Walks & Responsibility:
You’re free to explore the mountain neighborhood with your leashed pup and enjoy the surrounding mountain views. However, pets must not be left unattended inside or outside the property at any time.

‣ Spiral Staircase:
Please note that the spiral staircase leading to the loft may not be suitable for many dogs. You may use the folding stair gate to block access if needed.

✦ Well & Water:
Our cabin's well provides clean, fresh mountain water that tastes great—many guests comment on how much they enjoy its crisp, natural taste. While the water is perfectly safe to drink, we also provide a Brita filter pitcher in the refrigerator for your preference.

✦ Wildlife:
Our property offers amazing opportunities to view Colorado wildlife from the cabin, including deer, elk, fox, eagles, wild turkeys, and the occasional black bear. For everyone's safety, please never feed wildlife or leave food/trash outside unattended.
