You’ll feel like you’re getting away from it all in this modern, private tiny house in the trees, even though you’re just minutes from Duke, downtown Durham, shopping, and restaurants. It’s the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and city convenience.

The home includes all the essentials — full kitchen, laundry, A/C, and high-speed internet — but many guests find themselves spending most of their time relaxing on the screened-in porch, listening to birds, and recharging.

Sleep & Comfort:

You can’t put a price on good sleep. We’ve outfitted the tiny house with a high-density foam mattress and luxury hotel-quality sheets to ensure a comfortable, restful night.

Kitchen & Amenities:

-The kitchen is stocked with staples, including quality coffee and tea, so you can settle in right away.

-Please note: there is no television. The space is intentionally designed for unplugging, slowing down, and connecting with nature or with your companion.

Please note that it has quite a woodsy feel. We're still in the center of the city in a quiet neighborhood. :)

Hope Valley is a lovely historic neighborhood a couple of minutes south of downtown Durham, allowing you to be simultaneously surrounded by woods and easily accessible to shopping and restaurants. There is a paved walking path behind the neighborhood which is a great place for a run/walk, and a fantastic sandwich shop (Eastcut) around the corner.
