We offer 3 king-size apartments all en-suite with bath and shower. One has a kitchenette and sleeper couch suitable for 2 children. There is also a shared communal area with full kitchen, dining room, TV area, an indoor BBQ/open fireplace and pool.

The space
Ideal for self-catering groups or families (Max 8 guests - 6 Adults and 2 Kids) who would like to make use of all three rooms exclusively with private use of the guest lounge, kitchen and BBQ/braai room. The self-catering unit is the entire bottom area of a house including pool and garden with separate entrance, parking and deck area. Private rooms include Skye - a spacious studio with kitchenette, king-size bed, full en-suite bathroom and a sleeper double couch that could accommodate two 2 smaller children, TV, mini-fridge and ceiling fan. There are two additional king rooms, Islay & Jura, each with full en-suite bathrooms, TV and ceiling fans. The communal guest lounge is fitted with open fireplace/ BBQ, TV, kitchen, fridge, wine fridge, ice-maker, oven/microwave, hob, Teppanyaki, dishwasher and various appliances to make meals easy. Laundromat services available nearby which we can assist with. Rooms are not inter-leading with each other and creates more privacy and all rooms walk out directly onto deck (pool patio) and have mountain and ocean views with magnificent sunsets. All 3 rooms are set up with king-size beds but single bed configurations are also possible on request. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities. Essential starter kitchen supplies and toiletries provided, and the house works on a use and replace honesty basis for our guest's convenience.

Guest access
Parking onsite for 2-3 cars. DunRoaming is centrally located in the southern Cape Town area within 35 minutes of the city, airport and Cape Point.  There are a number of shopping centres, wine estates, spa's and extensive range of activites in the area. Stellenbosh is an hour away.  Car hire, Uber, bus services as well as tour services are the best means of getting around.

Other things to note
The space adjoins the host's house where he lives with his family, allowing personal assistance with special requests as required. You may meet one of his five cats, all which are rescues that make up his kitty rainbow nation. Animals are a big part of life at DunRoaming, as we have wild peacocks with their spring little ones, guinea fowl, ducks, and hadeda's being regular visitors to the garden, so being animal friendly as a guest is useful (although all guests areas are kept animal free zones!)

Where you’ll be

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

DunRoaming is situated below the Southern Slopes of Chapman’s Peak Drive, in the characterful village of Noordhoek. A Cape Town rural treasure with a farm atmosphere and famed for its long white sandy beach, so it is not surprising that Noordhoek is often called Cape Country at the Beach. It is common to find horses, peacocks, hens, ducks, geese and rabbits roaming around the leafy neighborhood. This is a place where horses are almost more important than cars, and the lifestyle of the residents is tranquil, relaxed and unhurried.
