Our unique modern house is nestled in the Lake Michigan dunes surrounded by over a thousand acres of woods and natural beauty. This modern eco-designed house is on five acres directly fronting a private freshwater lake. Relax to the sounds of frogs and crickets. Splash in the organic pond or let your body soak in the hot tub. Paddle the lake in a boat, kayak or canoe. Play basketball, pickleball, or tennis on the fully equipped sports court. Enjoy a bonfire on the beach and a hike in the forest.
The space
Modern Zen meets nature. A retreat that will rekindle your soul and inspire your love for nature.
Amenities include an outdoor multi-court system (basketball/volleyball/badminton/pickle ball court), a modern hot tub with Bluetooth surround sound, an outdoor kitchen with ample dining and relaxtion space, an Infinity game table, natural pond with waterfalls, fire pits, forest woodlands, bird watching, frog listening, kayaks and a paddleboat, swimming in the lake or pond, and hiking in the woods.
Guest access
Our five-acre private property is across the road from the 1000-acre Grand Mere State Park. We have ample parking and comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces. During your stay, you will have full, exclusive access to all our amenities and will be the only ones residing at our property.
Other things to note
Our natural pond is precisely that: a freshwater pond with waterfalls, plants, rocks, and boulders. It is not a typical swimming pool, although many of our guests love swimming in it. It’s also great for wading or cooling off on a hot day.
We are located in a natural dune area near Lake Michigan with wild turkeys, colorful birds, native deer, and lots of wildlife. Depending on the season, you can find snakes, turtles, and waterfowl. There’s also a lot of sand everywhere. Guests should be prepared to commune with nature, which is one of the things that makes this place so special.

Our home is located on a private lake nestled in the dunes less than a mile from Lake Michigan. It is a unique location in Southwest Michigan.
Although the house seems far removed from everything, the fabulous wineries, restaurants, and Lake Michigan beaches are just miles away. St. Joe, Benton Harbor, Bridgeman, and New Buffalo are a short drive. Stevensville is just around the corner.
The thousand acre Grand Mere State Park is right next door and provides beautiful undeveloped woods and magnificent sand dunes, hiking trails, and a picnic shelter. Half a mile of untouched Lake Michigan shoreline is accessible by the park’s many trails. Two ancient glacial lakes lie behind the dunes in the undeveloped natural area.
