The space
Modern, 2-story, 2-bedroom/bath home nestled in a wooded area, overlooking a small sunlit meadow. Home has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers and design and travel websites for its beautiful design and unique setting. Great for those who appreciate nature, design and architecture and also ideal for those who just want to get away and relax.

Downstairs is a full kitchen, living area w/fireplace (wood burning with a gas starter), guest room, bathroom and laundry room. Upstairs you'll feel like you are in a treehouse with a studio/library that fully opens up to a screened-in porch, then an open deck.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, range, full size Viking refrigerator). House has basic prepping, cooking and serving necessities like spices, pots/pans, mixing bowls, coffee makers, grinder, kettle, blender, etc. Enjoy our delicious free coffee!

DINING AREA:
Located within kitchen and next to living area. Dining table seats six.

LIVING ROOM:
A modern yet comfortable and inviting place to relax, with a wall of windows facing a wooded area. Serene neutral palette with pops of color. Built-in “barnyard” bench and wood burning fireplace encased in raw steel.

BATHROOMS:
2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. Upstairs is a spacious and sleek spa bathroom with a walk-around shower.

BEDROOM/SLEEPING OPTIONS:
There are 2 bedrooms, one on each floor, and each has a queen-sized bed. Each bedroom has a full closet so you can unpack and settle in.

Upstairs in the studio is a red daybed that reveals 2 twin-beds. The floor to ceiling sliding door can be fully opened to the screened porch so you feel like you’re sleeping outside in the comfort of a home.

LAUNDRY:
Walk-in laundry room with a washer and dryer. Feel free to borrow a beach bag! Please bring your own beach towels.

FAMILY FRIENDLY:
We are very family-friendly! Inside you will find lots of games and outside is nature’s playground. The “farm” is a fun place for kids to explore. Although the space is intended to sleep 4 adults, the house is spacious enough to comfortably sleep larger families upon exception with 2 additional twin beds.

PARKING. There are 2 parking spots out front, please do not block my neighbors drive. Guests that have 3 cars will require special instructions.

Guest access
You'll have access to the labyrinth, garden, meadows, prairies, ponds and miles of marked trails at Tryon Farm! The house is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining.

Reconnect with nature or head out to enjoy the beach, wineries, and great restaurants all which are minutes away!

Neighborhood highlights

Tryon Farm is a unique green community with homes strategically placed among 180+ acres, with over 120 acres of preserved, open land. Also on the farm is a restored barn, guest house, community garden, labyrinth and natural swimming pond (sorry, it's not available to renters).

You are close to everything - the beach, red arrow highway, wineries, restaurants and great MI towns like New Buffalo, Lakeside, and Three Oaks. I'm happy to make local recommendations and I also keep a binder at the house for additional info.
