Self-catering garden Cottage "Driftwood 2" in Tokai, is just minutes out of Central Cape Town. Centrally located .We are located within a stone throw away from the Constantia wine farms , golf estates and close to Table Mountain. Very Modern and Tastefully decorated. A spacious lounge looking onto an undercover patio and garden. A sunny garden for relaxing in. The property is enclosed with security fencing and cameras for your piece of mind. The Cottage also has an alarm system.

The space
Driftwood 2 Cottage has 2 Bedrooms . Bedroom 1 has a Queen size bed with hotel-quality linen for your comfort. Bedroom 2, has 2 single beds, decorated with hotel quality linen.

The cottage has a spacious lounge with luxury finishes and a Smart TV. Please feel free to bring your own Netflix/DSTV activation codes.

The Kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs, it has a Fridge/freezer, a 2 plate induction Stove, Microwave, kettle and toaster and all the other necessary utensils and cutlery.
The bathroom has a basin, toilet and a large walk in shower. Towels and linen are provided for.

This cottage is suitable for families of 4, couples or the single business traveler.
The cottage is on the same property as the hosts, but has its own private entrance and garden.

Off street secure parking . Shared gate entrance . Covered Patio area and private pebbled garden.

Other things to note
A cleaning lady can be arranged at an additional cost for a basic clean.
A laundromat is less than 2 minutes away if needed.
Single night stays are possible , but at an additional costs.
Due to the water shortage in the Cape, Towels will only be changed on certain days depending on the length of your stay.
A camp cot is available on request, but linen for the camp cot is NOT supplied.
A barbecue/kettle braai is available.

Driftwood 2 Cottage is located in the quite, beautiful neighbourhood of Tokai in the Southern Suburbs.
We are within walking distance of a shopping mall, restaurants and coffee shops. The American Embassy and the Norval Foundation/Art Museum is 5 a minute drive away. Melomed Hospital is less than 3km away.Steenberg Golf Estate is a 5 minute drive away.
Muizenberg beach is a quick 15 minute drive away. The Cottage is just a few Km from the Famous Constantia Wine farms, a selection of craft breweries and a 20 km drive from Cape town centre and the V & A Waterfront. A day visit to Cape Point Nature reserve is only 32km's away. In our hearts Cape Point is where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Distance to Cape Town international Airport is only 28 km's. Charismatic, arty places like Kalk Bay and Simon's Town are a must to see, boasting seafood restaurants with a view of the ocean. Mountain biking and over 350 hiking trails on our doorstep with beautiful forests and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.

We are a young couple with 2 kids, We have traveled around South Africa seeing many attractions and had the opportunity to travel to Greece on 2 occasions , seen the beautiful Dubai and spent many holidays in and around South Africa. We love Kruger National Park , having introduced our kids to Wild Life from an early age. We have traveled to other Game reserves in South AFrica and this is our absolute passion. We believe that we can provide guests with their wants and needs, to make their holiday exciting and memorable. Tokai is a beautiful suburb to live in, with green forests and mountains in view. A few minutes drive from beautiful surrounds of wine-farms, craft markets, bike tracks, hiking trails, beaches & golf courses. On our door step are very well known Wine farms . which are world-renowned for their excellence. Spending time as a family is our thing . We love spending time doing things in and a round Cape Town . We often act like the tourists here, We love to Braai new and exciting meals , so many evenings we are often spent entertaining under our patio next to the pool and having a traditional South African braai/barbeque. .
