At the edge of the forest, just 200 metres from Lake Bredasjön, you’ll find a place to truly slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
The forest surrounding Drängstugan has been cared for by my family for more than 100 years. I focus on recreation and nature experiences rather than timber production, and my father did the same in his time. The result is a varied, calm, and beautiful forest landscape, perfect for walks, swimming, berry picking, and simply being in nature.
The space
The house has one large main room (kitchen, dining table, sofa and fireplace), two bedrooms (2 + 4 beds), and a bathroom with washing machine and dryer. Please see photos.
This is a completely quiet and secluded part of the countryside, with no traffic and no neighbours nearby. At night, it is pitch dark and utterly silent. On cloud-free evenings, the sky opens up in a breathtaking display of thousands of stars, sharp and crystal clear.
In addition to Lake Bredasjön, where a simple rowing boat is at your disposal, there are also several other lakes within easy walking distance. You can swim either at the farm’s own small bay, or on the other side of the lake (about 1 km by foot, car, or boat), where there is a bathing jetty.
This place is well suited for couples, families, groups of friends, and anyone looking for a quiet retreat away from everyday stress — a place to disconnect, without giving up comfort. (There is also reliable WiFi, if you don’t want to disconnect completely.)
Other things to note
All outdoor photos in the listing are taken in the forest and on the farmland directly surrounding the house.
The price includes professional cleaning after check-out, so the house will be in perfect condition for the next guests.
We kindly ask guests to take out the trash and wash the dishes before leaving (it is fine to start the dishwasher when you check out).
There are two separate dwellings on the farm. The other house is also rented out on Airbnb and sleeps up to 7 guests:

Both houses are fully equipped, and each has its own outdoor area with furniture, located at opposite ends of the farmyard. This means you will not be close to the guests in the other house, and you can enjoy your stay in peace and privacy.
