Neighborhood highlights

Saint Aulaye is a bastide town dating back to 1288 right on the banks of the river Dronne. The river beach is simply a delight and refreshes the soul with a leisurely dip.
The village offers a thai spa centre to relax, indulge and wind the worries away with a range of treatments.
There are 2 boulangeries with one offering an indoor cosy area for coffee and pattiserie.
There is a canoe and pedalo hire for ambles down the river plus a beach bar and pizzeria in the summer months.
A wander up the hill brings you to the old village centre, with more restaurants, and shops. Be sure to try all the different baguettes and sweet patisseries on your visit, yum.
The village also boasts a most attractive church where you can witness the bats flying in and out at dusk.
